Thanks DB, I plan to keep adding more while the price is under 150p. Every morning I’ve been waking up nervous that there is an unexpected RNS before I’ve had the chance to fill my boots. Sometimes you have to listen to your gut!

Worst case the next RNS is April, which is only weeks away anyway. The ridiculous drop in price on such small volumes also goes the other way so once good news drops the elevator up will be rapid.

In terms of volumes the missing part of the equation is what volume of reserves they already hold. I think they loaded up last year as a contingency which has worked out very well given recent events.

Please don’t let me down I’ve just added more shares and just got my daughter to invest in Itaconix as well. Price already up to £1.37.

Feels like the market jitters over tariffs are done and people starting to think about the April trading update and 2025 forecast which could well lead to a re-rating. So wanna get my daughter in early for maximum long term benefit.

In terms of the recent raw material shipments I think these are just sensible top ups as the company probably already has enough raw material for the next 18 months based on forecast revenue for 2025 and 2026. Good to stay ahead of the curve. GLA.

Yes a fantastic share to hold. We are seeing daily increases in share price as news of the recent breakthroughs with the Golliath battery and manufacturing produce spreads across Europe and the US.

On top of that each new RNS brings the prospect of further jumps and a major re-rating on the back of commercial progress. 2025 is shaping up to be an epic year.

Thanks AJP I look forward to seeing what the volumes look like. I also see that Trump has scheduled a press conference at 6pm today on reciprocal tariffs so I should soon know whether now is the time to add some more Itaconix shares or wait for any blow back from tonight’s announcement.

Big buy just before the close in the US.

Loot an interesting comparison. The surge in price last March came after a very positive trading update at the end of February which gave no hint of the upcoming decision to ditch the low margin customer which was announced 5 weeks later at the beginning of April. In hindsight the company could have managed this much better and avoided the massive peak and trough that followed, and led to so much acrimony here.

Nearly 50,000 shares bought at 12.03pm at 39 pence. Looking increasingly likely that we will see 40p this week and then start the next leg up towards 50p. Also good to see buying continuing over in the US on the OTCQX market (ILIKF)

Lootgaloot the fact that no-one understands the current Itaconix price is what worries me.

1. Why is it sat at 2.5p despite all the progress?

2. Why does the share price move up and down on so little volume when there are 13.5 million shares?

I don’t disagree with any of the positive points described in great detail by others here but why isn’t that translating into the share price? If I had a greater understanding I’d probably be willing to invest a whole lot more but I can’t risk more without this understanding.

I agree £1.00 (2p in old money) would be an attractive price to add Itaconix shares.

Just had a look at the ADVFN share chat site for Itaconix. Very different style to here but seems they have a good sense of humour which is definitely needed!

Terry I feel for you. Unfortunately a lot of tech stocks got crushed in the last bear cycle. I lost loads on other shares at that time. There was a lot of hype at the time - Luke Lango over in the US was one of those saying it was the investment opportunity of a lifetime when it was $3 and then $2 a share. Reality is that the company was years away from commercial production back then and when the bear market hit tech stocks, it was impossible to justify the evaluation. Fund raises are part and parcel of developing tech companies/new technologies. The fund raises have been relatively small considering what they are doing (compare to similar companies worldwide).

Move on a few years and the Stereax battery is going into commercial production this year via the partnership with Cirtec and the Golliath battery is hitting every step of its roadmap towards commercialisation.

Given the previous highs, it’s one of the reasons I’m so optimistic, now that the company is many years further down its roadmap.

Can anyone please explain how the bid price has dropped to 120p on the back of 1958 shares being sold today?

The market cap is £17.87m. There are 13.49m shares and a float of 8.33million(!) shares.

Ilika’s announcement last week that it has successfully demonstrated that its large format solid-state battery manufacture can be carried out with the types of mixing and coating equipment widely used in existing gigafactories is attracting both plaudits and investors.

Usually posts on LinkedIn barely gather a few likes or 1 or 2 comments but Ilika’s announcement last week, drew 17 comments from leading experts in the industry who clearly recognised what a game changing announcement this is.

This is starting to translate into new investors streaming into Ilika as reflected in the share price. I say starting, as I believe this is just the start and far greater rewards are still to come. Happy Monday everyone.

Well next week promises to be another turbulent one for the world’s markets. Reciprocal tariffs won’t affect the U.K. much as trade with the US is in balance. It will be the EU and China that are affected most. Someone’s got to pay for the tax cuts in the USA!
