Well I am extremely pleased to have just noticed that Itaconix have employed the services of Rosewood PR. If you look under the enquiries section of the notice for Monday’s event, John West and Llew Angus from Financial PR are listed. This fills me with renewed confidence for Monday’s presentation. I’m ignoring the current share price as just about every stock is getting hammered in the run up to tariff Tuesday on 2nd April.

Global stock markets are being hammered at the moment in advance of 2nd April “Tariff Day”. Look at today’s Nasdaq down over 2.5%. Every single market in the red today.

I think that’s a good thing. You usually get day traders who buy in just before an announced update and then sell out after the RNS. This time we are going into the RNS nice and steady at a low share price so minimum risk and maximum potential upside.

Feeling very excited for Monday’s update and more importantly the answers to our questions in the afternoon.

Be very interested to know what Ilika's John updates this afternoon at the Battery Tech Expo presenting 'Solid State Batteries - a Progress Update.

Think further positive RNS’s are around the corner.

I see Monday 31st March as a 3 part show:

Part 1 - Trading update and forecast . What’s the forecast revenue? What’s the forecast gross margin?

Part 2 - Canaccord Genuity update. This provides much more detail on the numbers. e.g. What’s the forecast time to move into profit. If you aren’t signed up to receive this yet then get onto Research Tree.

Part 3 - Investor meet Company session at 2pm. This is where we hopefully get answers to a lot of questions that we have mulled over during the past 6 months.

All excellent questions. I feel that by the end of Monday afternoon we will all know a lot more information and have a clear sense of where the company is going in the next 12 to 24 months. This really is a great opportunity for the company to sell themselves. Let’s hope they take it!

Thank goodness we are now less than a week away from what will hopefully be a game changing forecast for 2025 and beyond.

Nice simple question DB - straight to the point.

I’m hoping the company review all questions well in advance so they can have polished answers ready or incorporate into their main presentation. For example a chart on forecast income and transition to profitability would be warmly received.

I see 3 potential scenarios following the trading update and company meet investor session on 31st March.

Scenario 1 (10% chance): Itx REPEATS previous trading pattern.

Scenario 2 (60% chance): Itx RE-RATES for example to 200p+ within a week or less. Most likely scenario following forecast revenue of 9 - 10m in 2025 and transition to profit in 2026.

Scenario 3 (30% chance): Itx achieves price TAKE OFF and we see continued price growth in the weeks and months following the trading update. This would likely require transition to profit in late 2025.

Remember the markets are always forward looking so it’s all going to depend on outlook for 2025 and 2026. I will be carefully parsing every word of the presentation and answers to questions to try to work out if it’s going to be scenario 2 or 3.

Balance Batteries used realistic assumptions to model and compare the Hyundai Ioniq 5 pack with one that would hypothetically use a SSB cell made by Ilika. Key findings include:

Pack weight reduction of more than 100 kg

Bill of Materials cost reduction of more than £2.5k

6 min shorter charge (12 min vs 18 min, 10-80% SoC)

3% energy consumption reduction during drive.

I’m hoping for a market positive response to this evening’s US FED update so I can sell some of my US shares and add another much bigger chunk of Itaconix.

If on 31st March Itaconix come out and say circa 9 - 10m revenue forecast for 2025, that is going to be incredible when you consider the current market cap is only 15m and they have 6.7m cash.

Subtract the cash and that’s a market cap of 8.3m, so revenue will be greater than market cap!! This is RIPE for a re-rating.

Managed to jump in with a couple of buy transactions at the opening bell, to further average down. Exciting times ahead!

I always think that when a company releases its results early (2 weeks earlier than expected), it is a very positive sign. Less than 2 weeks away from what could be a blockbuster update 🚀🚀🚀

Another cheeky top up this morning. Getting my average purchase price as low as possible whilst the price is such a discount, so as to maximise future returns. Average now around 135p so easy double bagger this year hopefully triple by year end. Good times coming people 🤞

Absolutely the algorithms suck money out the market in microseconds. But this opens the door to a massive price correction. Will continue to load up at these wonderful prices with a BIG trading update 3 or 4 weeks away
