I agree with AJP and Elsol’s estimates of $4.8m to $5m. Anything above this would be a bonus. It will be good to see progress towards profit as well which I am expecting as turnover increases which reduces overheads relatively. I was very impressed with the CFOs interview and the company’s recent RNS update.

I agree with covmutley that a re-rating is well overdue and the trading update in July should be that catalyst. Current share price is a gift IMO. One strong trading update and the sentiment dial will swing to buy buy buy and the share price will move rapidly. GLA.

Looks like I received (or will receive on 2nd June) 94% of the shares I applied for. Interactive Investor always flag corporate actions and it was easy to apply.

Agree it’s a massive ruling Elsol. Stock markets will fly up today. However the company has made it clear that Itaconix is in a strong position with or without the new tariffs.

Well done to the company for rewarding existing shareholders. I am delighted to receive my full allocation bid.

The fact this was oversubscribed says volumes about where investors know this is heading. The £4.2m gives the company a strong hand going into commercial negotiations. This is the start of the commercialisation of Goliath.

The Results of the Retail Offer are due to be announced at close of trading today and I would bet my bottom dollar that every share has been snapped up. Hoping I get the full allocation I bid for but may not be that lucky.

With the capital raise out the way I expect to see some steady progress on share price as the company gears up for commercial negotiations in the second half of this year.

I’ve just submitted my request for shares in the Retail Offer which appeared in my Corporate Actions section of my account. The notes say that the Retail Offer will be conducted through a process known as an “accelerated bookbuild”, which means that the offer will have a very short deadline, often closing on the same day that it is announced. So I wouldn’t hang around if you want some discounted shares.

It says if my bid is successful the shares will be issued on 2nd June.

Cavendish have published a new research note on Ilika lauding the fund raise for putting the company in a much strong position as it enters commercial license negotiations for the Goliath battery in H2.

It says Ilika has a big advantage as it is full solid state whereas ProLogium and Quantumscape are semi solid state and still contain liquid electrolyte. It says Ilika could become valued at a premium to its competitors.

1. It is to advance the commercial status of both of the Company's product lines, specifically supporting the commercial launch and ramp up of the small format Stereax technology, and the continued development of the large format Goliath technology, through to a position where it is possible to secure commercial licensing agreements with commercial partners.

2. It is only £3.5m which is tiny for 2 massive projects. Only 5.8% of the current market cap.

Will be very interesting to see the market reaction tomorrow. Selfishly I’m hoping the price dips so I can add more shares but I’m not sure that will happen as this RNS is very good news for the medium and long term.

I am holding and happily adding at these prices because I am confident the July H1 update will be strong and send the price up up and away. We have the benefit of the recent RNS from the CFO which has already confirmed that 2025 is off to a strong start.

The share price has always found support at £1 so I don’t see any more downside from here.

Frankly if it gets any cheaper they will just get bought out.

I’ve scratched around the back of the sofa like Durin suggested and added another 656. Will keep topping up whenever I can at these ridiculous prices.

I can’t believe someone has dumped 10k of shares at a £1 per share when there is a low risk high reward trading update in 2 months time. Absolute stupidity in my opinion.

That is a fascinating bit of insight DD. I used to have similar concerns, but in addition to the large fund raise they have significantly strengthened their board. For me, the appointments of Paul LeBlanc, Peter J. Nieuwenhuizen and Jonathan Brooks as non-exec directors, has coincided with a massive upscaling and development of the business.

As predicted … US China reciprocal tariffs slashed to 10%. What a desperate act of back tracking. Given Itaconix was circa 150p before all this nonsense we should hopefully see a steady rebound in share price. Then we have the catalyst of the July trading update and we know from the CFO that 2025 trading is off to a very strong start.

There is a growing expectation that the US China talks this weekend will lead to a removal of the reciprocal tariffs. Trump is looking for an excuse to remove the reciprocal tariffs that have back-fired and will use the talks as his way out.

If so, market sentiment will be very positive next week.

I am a little surprised the share price has not advanced further since last week’s positive update on both tariffs and trading. I guess the market knows the trading update is 2 months away and is waiting to move funds. That feels like an opportunity for us to load up while it’s cheap. Unfortunately I won’t have any spare cash until June so selfishly I’m hoping the price stays where it is a few more weeks.

Very savvy of the company to delay price increases from the start of 2025 until they knew what the pricing structure would need to be to maintain gross margins. Also great how Laura put into context the current tariffs compared to the impact of the global pandemic. Got to say the company have nailed these comms 👏👏👏
