Well the market certainly likes today’s announcement. Don’t forget there has been years of work leading up to today’s breakthrough announcement. When I searched for articles earlier they went all the way back to 2020.

I have no worries about the H1 trading update as the CFO has already told us that trading is off to a very strong start in 2025 which means the company will be hitting its progressive growth trajectories.

Shares have been massively oversold in the past 6 months so it was only going to take a bit of positive news to see a major correction in share price. The good thing with Itaconix is that once it gets momentum it tends to power on so the timing of the upcoming TU could not be better.

Don’t worry there will be publicity out later today. I am also expecting a broker update which I will share as soon as I have it.

Likely to see a further surge in share price when the rest of the world hears about this new enterprise.

Wow the company has just opened the door to a $2.6Bn market for butyl acrylates in Europe and North America. I’ll leave it to others with a chemistry background to explain the massive potential of this. But what really made me happy was the launch of its first ecommerce website, www.bioasterix.com.

Great marketing and development by the company. Bravo!!

The broker increased their price target to 133p following the successful £3.5m fund raise in May. This remains a very strong buy for me.

If the trading update is again on the second Tuesday in July (8th) then that leaves just 13 trading days to load up. Gotta say I’m much more hopeful for this one having listened to the CFO’s recent update about the year getting off to a very strong start.

Well it’s rather quiet these days. A sign that investors are waiting for news and that news isn’t far away. I’m expecting fireworks in the second half of this year.

Itaconix is still managing to grow in an anti-green political climate because there is no extra cost to their formulations. Longer term the political climate will flip to pro-green because let’s face it the planet is royally facked. As humans we (our leaders) don’t take action until the roof is about to collapse on our heads and that moment gets closer every year.

The Investor meet Company events are usually very informative and a great opportunity to raise questions. For the past 3 years the H1 Trading update has been delivered on the second Tuesday of the month of July. That would make this year’s 8th July.

Thanks AJP, looks like 2 new products in a market that is just starting to take off:

Sprays: Use Itaconix zinc polyitaconate (ZPI) in a pressurized spray formulation to remove wrinkles, lift stains, and add a freshly laundered scent in a matter of minutes

Dryer sheets: A quick cycle through the dryer solves most wrinkle issues—add a sheet loaded with a deodorizing formulation, and clothes will come out as good as freshly washed.

Lol Undercarriage you must be relatively new here as everyone else on this board knows that myself and Elsol had some very different strong opinions a year ago when the company ditched its low margin customer.

Thankfully we have put those differences of opinion behind us and likely the reason our posts may sound similar is because we (and most others here) believe that the share price is massively oversold in light of the great progress the company is making with revenue, development, new products and business.

There is solid support at £1 (the bottom). We have seen the clear out of some LTHs who lost patience and are building afresh. I believe the July trading update will see a massive positive market reaction harking back to 2021 when the share price took off. This time the foundation is much more solid and the business is expanding rapidly in multiple directions. 4.5 - 5m H1 revenue takes us break even. 2026 we see profit. That will change market mind sets.

Delighted to receive my new shares in my account this morning which are instantly in profit. Got 94% of what I wanted so can’t complain. Interactive investor are very smooth operators.

Looking forward to a bumper H2 🚀

1. We know we have the trading update to come next month and that it is very likely to be a good one given what the CFO has already told us.

2. In the last meet the investor event the company promised us more regular updates on the SPARX programme. Given they were looking at circa 10 developments/products/partnerships we can expect a busy period between now and the end of 2025.

3. Transition to profit in 2026 will be a massive turning point for the company. Who knows it might even come sooner than we think.

Keep smiling LTHs, long overdue rewards could be with us sooner than we think.

I agree with AJP and Elsol’s estimates of $4.8m to $5m. Anything above this would be a bonus. It will be good to see progress towards profit as well which I am expecting as turnover increases which reduces overheads relatively. I was very impressed with the CFOs interview and the company’s recent RNS update.

I agree with covmutley that a re-rating is well overdue and the trading update in July should be that catalyst. Current share price is a gift IMO. One strong trading update and the sentiment dial will swing to buy buy buy and the share price will move rapidly. GLA.

Agree it’s a massive ruling Elsol. Stock markets will fly up today. However the company has made it clear that Itaconix is in a strong position with or without the new tariffs.
