The fact that we often have days like today where there are more comments than trades (zero trades as of 2pm), just demonstrates how little interest there is out there beyond LTHs.

The company need to do a LOT more to generate interest in Itaconix. I vote for AJP or Elsol to become honorary members of the board to help fulfil this role.

Hope this sell is a reaction to the global market sell off and not something to do with Itaconix. Share price has recovered well today all things considered. Really hope this is the bottom.

Well I didn’t think I’d get the opportunity to add more Ilika below 40p but thanks to the global market turbulence I’m now adding more at 35p. Crazy! Such a golden opportunity if you missed out previously.

In terms of macro economics, this Wednesday’s US CPI report due at 1.30pm will have a big bearing on which direction the markets move in the short term.

Still think Itaconix needs to do a lot more to shout about the progress it is making, to get some fresh buyers in. There’s only so many shares we can buy!

I hope the company bring forward their release from mid April as we can’t afford the share price to bleed out another 5 weeks.

I don’t see any reason why they can’t report full year results for 2024 in March. How long do their accountants need!

At what point (in share price) do the institutional investors intervene?

So frustrating as there is so much good news to report. Share price should be double what it currently is.

Personally I don’t see any likelihood of a fund raise. Ilika use their funding very frugally. But more importantly they will have income coming in from their partnership with Cirtec for their Stereax battery and are also likely to land at least one commercial partnership for their Golliath battery. I think some people are trying their best to talk down the share price in the hope of a cheaper entry point.

Someone or the market is clearly walking the price down on the back of tariffs rumours. The reality is none of know how tariffs will play out as it changes daily. However Trump did say that those who manufacture in USA will not be penalised. I wish I had more funds available today to invest at this price but I’m all in at the moment.

I had hoped comms would improve but they seem to be focused on glossy web pages rather than updating investors on a more regular basis or bringing in new investors. The marketing director job seems a right cushy number that we are indirectly paying for.

I’ve seen very little fresh blood investing here in the past few years. I still think we will see big progress in the share price this year but the company could do a LOT more to help shareholders. I often wonder if they actually care about the share price. If they want more money they just do another fund raise. Anyway that’s my morning gripe over with. Roll on next months trading update.

The pace of development is truly outstanding. A 25-fold increase in capacity from the previous 2Ah prototype, to 50Ah shows exponential progress.

Each RNS increases the likelihood of commercial offers which could happen anytime this year.

Just added again, another 500 shares. Holding beginning to build up nicely again. Bought at £1.34 which I was pleasantly surprised with. As I keep saying I will keep adding while we are under £1.50 as that ‘should’ IMHO give a 100% gain in the next 12 months. How many shares can you predict that for! Personally I’m hoping for much more as the volumes to move the price upwards are ridiculously small so it won’t take much to catapult this forward and we all expect great things this year! 🤞

Just a few thousand £ of shares bought to move the share price up over 5%. There really can’t be many shares available. This bodes very well for future price increases and make me think my 300p target for this time next year could be blown out the water. If we get new investors on the back of good news demand is simply going to strip supply 🚀🚀🚀

Agree with all AJP and Elsol have said below. It’s easy money at this price. We know the share price rises on the run up to a trading update. The April one in particular as the investor meet company event is announced a week in advance. So long term investors will have topped up in March and traders will update in the week inbetween RNSs in early April.

My hope this time is that the RNS / investor meet company session leads to further and continued share price increase in the days and weeks afterwards. If Itaconix deliver the correct messaging this should be the case. I can see the share price moving towards 200p before the investor meet company session and then IF they deliver the goods to keep moving up to 250p - 300p. This is ripe for a re-rating.

Yes in theory they could be used for a wide range of devices ranging from miniature to large. However, solid state batteries are not cheap and hence their use needs to be justified. They are ideal for medical implants as they are safe, durable and won’t leak. Also ideal for electric cars as they won’t explode if punctured in a crash and don’t need heavy casing around them like the current electric car batteries.

I think it’s harder to justify the economics in mass produced items like mobile phones and other gadgets that don’t have such a high safety profile.

I read a Trump post on Truth social that said there would be no tariffs if manufacture in USA. Thankfully Itaconix does all its manufacture in USA so I think they will be fine. At the moment worst case is 10% tariff but I presume that would be waived as they are importing raw material to manufacture in USA and then export worldwide. In other words Itaconix are exactly the type of home grown company Trump wants to protect!

When the institutional investors snapped up the Itaconix shares 2 years at 5.1p (255p) they would have factored in at least a 10% per annum return. Most likely higher percentage. On that basis today the shares should be worth over 300p. However we know last year’s strategic decision pushed everything back 1 year so my realistic target is for 300p+ by this time next year. Hopefully a good chunk of that price increase will come after April’s trading update and forecast for 2025. This is so due an upwards re-rating! What target do others here have in their minds?
