Well the big boys investors we have aren't selling and at least two of those could be bond buyers.

And unless I'm mistaken the headline of the ft article is "Sirius PMinerals ays High Price for Yorkshire Mine Funding".

They're acting like it's going to happen, even if they are being d1x about it.

I think McCrum might still be busy with the wirecard saga and being taken to court in Germany, shame if he is :-/

What I found interesting from the times article is the phoning of 3rd parties, I do wonder if this is the 'Mexican standoff' we've been told about.

As for Alphaville (a snarky zerehedge without the edge) I do find it interesting that they are saying Sirius have confirmed the price although I can't find the source for this.

I'll have to hold my hands up and say I've possibly misused the word 'auction'.

Whether or not that is by auction or not I don't know.

The reason for me personally expecting this week was a tweet by what I assume was a trader / analyst / financier replying to a friend on twitter who quoted a note from JPM some time ago which had the loose dates and locations of the roadshow and said price confirmation then auction in week beginning the 5th.

Could be wrong but my gut says he was telling the truth.

I'd expect so Avocet, although I'm personally not expecting the results of any auction till Friday.

Ffc I've looked at the pic again (it's actually hidden in the comments of a link to a shares magazine article) and the text says 13.5%. *area* so I'm guessing the absolute price isn't nailed on.

Avocet, somebody has posted a pic of what I assume is a bloomberg terminal with the info on in the serious minerals Facebook group. Seemed genuine.

Failure is not an option with this bond sale, so I'd say its priced to go.

Any thoughts on whether or not tonight's action at the Fed could have an impact? I nearly spat my tea out this morning when I read Powell could go for a half percent cut.

If it wasn't for the transaction fees and tax I daresay a monkey could make profit here day trading.

I could have saved myself loads if my first few purchases weren't made in the first half hour of the day (I've since learned not to buy them)
