Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
So the EUS counting will be almost over even if they use the US time line for the cut-off and they will know the results. Remember end year trading update used to be mid Jan and is now end December. What is the use of sitting on the results for several days even weeks especially if it’s good news. Get it out there ASAP I say
Im going Wednesday, Thursday, Friday next week for the TU
They will want to get this out ASAP

Based on last year we should have confirmation as to the impact of the pandemic on the already expected exponential growth of the company in H1 within 3 weeks although I would not be surprised if they released the TU on or before 1st July
Disney get singled out for some reason, anybody would think Bango already have a relationship in the bag

Anil sounding positive on H1 growth, share holders should be happy
Bango have now posted answers to the questions from the AGM sent in by email

Not listened to the recording but I like the statement at the bottom of the key takeaways
We know who pays in apps because we process $Bn’s of payments for Google Play

Apart from again trying to demonstrate that Bango can launch multiple billing routes in a short period I found the RNS last week was a little pointless especially when Bango had already announced the deal with Sun Mobile several weeks earlier, maybe the RNS was giving clues and you just need to join the dots
Viu have just launched DCB in South Africa with MTN who Bango also launched Google Play recently
Viu with 40 million subscribers in 17 markets across Asia, Africa and the Middle East including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa are based in Hong Kong and owned by PCCW who own HKT Hong Kong's largest mobile operator who in turn own Sun Mobile who Bango launched Google Play recently.
Sun Mobile offer Viu as a premium service

Thanks, now fully educated on equity accounting
The available Audiences on the Bango marketplace is starting to look impressive
https://marketplace.bango.com/?&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=sm&utm_campaign=BM_BA&utm_content=220520&utm_term=M33
Now that Bango only hold 40% of Audiens does anybody know how this will impact the financial reporting
Will the Bango payments platform and marketplace be a stand alone company and Audiens will report separately
For the last couple of years Audiens has been a drain on resources / and being generated by the Bango payment platform albeit to good effect, this should now not be the case especially especially with the NHN investment in Audiens
Looks like we will need to wait a further 7 weeks for the trading update, 10th July last year
Increase in buying late yesterday afternoon after the AGM
I'm sure this statement will be attracting further telco partners
To ensure continuous revenue growth from carrier billing across these new routes, Bango technology will be applied to increase payment success, user acquisition and engagement. Mobile operators relying on Bango Boost data typically increase revenue by 20-40 percent, with some achieving growth of more than 70 percent.
Who’s your money on ?
https://www.investopedia.com/articles/markets/030216/worlds-top-10-telecommunications-companies.asp
I have always been of the opinion Ray Anderson after putting 20 years of blood sweat & tears into trying to develop the worlds largest payment technology platforms would take a lot of persuading to give it up when he is on the verge of achieving his dream. Also after investing just short of £10m I would think NHN would have something to say if any TO approach came knocking on the door so it would be some battle
Any thoughts on which global telecoms provider the deal announced last week is with and how this works. I can see a huge increase in EUS via the BANGO platform for the third party services although I would expect targets will need to be hit to increase revenue in addition to the £500K annual fixed fee. There is though the upside of the increased data gathering for the Bango Marketplace
Shame Bango have not provided more info on the deal
So with the 2 outstanding deals which caused a shortfall of circ £2m in the 2019 accounting period now complete and the expected uptick in EUS as a result of global lockdown H1 revenue should have been turbo boosted on top of the already expected exponential growth
Looking forward to the next TU when ever it comes
It clear from the recent RNS from Sukey that only questions relating directly to the business of the AGM should be sent by email. The RNS also states that the AGM will be reduced in length and limited to the formal business required, as set out in the Notice of AGM (resolutions 1 -11). Therefore as there is no resolution related to business since the end of 2019 accounts any questions that would provide any sort of trading update will not be answered.
Lets hope in these unprecedented times the Bango BoD change the norm and take the opportunity to release a TU statement on the morning of the AGM if not before.
