1. imo there is no deliberate delay
2. imo LC is a man of integrity and perseverance.
I sympathise with your frustration tho’

1. Sepco and GE remain right behind us. They obviously have a great deal of trust in LC.
2. no one as far as we know has yet publically acknowledged an interest in the coal apart from us. If it turns out to be just us or even us and Dangote imagine the boomage.
3. You can sell KIBO currently for significantly more than you are able to buy. They want your shares.
4. I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend (sorry always wanted to say that!)

It feels to me like we have turned a corner today. Three times as many shares bought than sold. Only 3 actual sells since Novum "departed".
imo there will be no placing.
The two RNS's yesterday had the feeling for me of clearing the decks.
I'm looking forward to the weekends news.

How are we doing with the chilling.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling the pain of the share price.
But I always try not to let my moods be affected by shareprice ups and downs.
I agree with JD.
The market is rarely right when it comes to valuing a company.
Currently it values us as if there are significant doubts about the provenance of MCCP and none of the other four projects have any value.
In my strong opinion wrong on both counts.
Its in that context that I look forward to the teasing out of the tender situation. I will be very interested to see how that affects timings if at all. I like the captains theory about the likely reasons (to satisy funders requirements).
Which of course lends some credence to the view that the MCCP being independently funded needn’t come within the tender regime.
In any event there is imo not a smigeon of evidence that the government and Tanesco are acting in anything other than good faith (OK bureocracy reigns) and will eventually do whats best for them and us.
So tomorrow some will moan some will clap I will ( albeit slightly frustratedly) chill

It’s been a long road so far hasn’t it but my thoughts are we’re so tantalisingly close. OK I know we’ve been saying that for ages but on AIM we invest on potential and imo the potential here across our 5 main projects including the new one and KAT has never been greater.
You may say thus far unrealised potential so far in shareprice terms (which is the only yardstick that matters to us) and you’d be correct but isnt that what Aim is about

never trust blue/red. Buys often occur well under the mid price.
Also always chech nex exchange.

If I’m correct and the companies non clarification of the nature of the “sensitive process” in which they are engaged can be seen as a positive that may make it easier to thole the next few weeks. We are all of the random goodies which may in the meantime pop up like sovereigns in a Christmas Pud.

Its understandable imo that the market is obsessed with the tender process.
We still don’t know whether KIBO will have to engage in it or not.
If it does require to engage then however long the process takes and whoever else may tender our tender will surely beat all comers. Apart from our advanced stage who else can so easily and appropriately “plug into” the Mbeya interconnector.
But we are still unsure whether it is simply a case of tendering the Mbeya project (and if it was as simple as that why for example would Bcl be given the imression by St Brides that its a sensitive process and its better that the company doesnt at the moment share all that it knows)
Feel free to correct me bcl if I’m reading to much into what you said but I see that as a positive.

How about everyone agreeing to make a visit to this board a pleasant experience today?

Allow me to give a shout out to the decent guys on here who have not sold a share but have been tempted to loose heart recently (I don't include the time wasting numpties - you know who you are).
Sometimes gloom in one poster can in the absence of contrary views being expressed on the board lead to gloom in another and the board becomes a firestorm of doubt to the delight of some and the discomfort of others.
I think that the license news is just the first fruits of a very exciting time for KIBO between now and Christmas. Hold onto your hats. Relax chill and enjoy the ride!!

I certainly wouldnt be surprised to get Bots news this week. If so then even in the absence of up to date Tanzi news that may kick start the recovery.

How are we all feeling.
Understandable if the share price has left some feeling slightly fragile (even if most of us can acknowledge that the market value of our company because of its illiquidity bears no resemblance to its true value)
Various speculations have been made re what Tanesco is getting at. I like Shrubby’s thinking but we wont know for sure till LC gets back to us.
The documentation we have seen is ambiguous but taking an overview
a) It suggests some urgency on the part of Tanesco to get energy sorted.
b) It suggests a continued willingness to work with independent power producers
c) It suggests that one way or another we may have a clearer route and a more reliable timetable for our prize shortly.
