I can see sentiment is swinging day by day here.
I am not prepared to commit myself to timelines as regards when (not if) MCPP will burst into life.
Timelines lead to anxiety and brinkmanship followed by unneccesary despair if things don't work out entirely as hoped for.
Ok there are hopeful signs that a price rise is imminent (not just KIBO RNS imminent).
Magas visit to Mbeya is intriguing. The SEPCO investment is encouraging ( note the facility for extending the calculation of it till after the end of September if need be).
I don't have to go thro' again all the different ways in which KIBO's stars are aligning suggesting that this Autumn is indeed blast off time.
But it may not happen in September shock horror and if it doesn't there will be no need for weeping and gnashing of teeth because imo Pauly will be dancing long before his latest long stop date of January.

For me these arbitrations point up how absolutely necessary it was that the Bulldozer called a halt to the previous energy arrangements. Many politicians would have adopted a more nuanced approach but being Magafuli there were no such half measures.
Not so much a new broom as demolish and rebuild.
As has been alluded to earlier this week we investors have in the last 2or three years have been collateral damage but without the expert tactical nous of our CEO it could have been so much worse.
Now our interests are fully aligned with those of the government (everyone now wants to proceed with expedition for the benefit of Magafuli Tanzania and ourselves)

As for KIBO I find myself excitedly checking the RNS feed every morning.
If theres nothing at 7 I aim for 8. If theres nothing at 8 I remember KIBO’s record of intraday RNS’s.
I’m a convert to common sense now O&W.
Common Sense dictates that the Government will be commencing the release of the energy dam in the next week or two. Come on you war weary cynics. Enjoy the hors doevres. It will make the main courseall the more satisfying.

Point is O&W that the reason we all hang around the AIM market at all is an acceptance that the AIM market is pants at valuing companies.
Hence the realistic prospect of multibaggers for the really good AIM companies ( we fall in that category)

Vastly Over rated.

LC is an optimist which of course you want your CEO to be.
However he imo is also a realist.
I remember one February around about the time that the new mining legislation would have been in its formative stages him telling us in a podcast to expect no significant news in the short term future.
Now if he's very pleased I'm very pleased.

I think I know how some of you are feeling. I also have my fed up moments....just don't choose to post when I'm feeling that way......BUT imo its difficult to stay very fed up for very long when you remind yourself of the fundamentals.
Sometimes we are tempted in this waiting period to have a strong sense of deja vu and think what is the difference between now and countless other times that excitement has resulted only in the promise of jam tomorrow.
Can I explain why I think this time is different.
1. The new mining regs have been finalised as of July.
2. We have fully complied with them (as announced 9 days ago).
3. Media statements have indicated a clear sense of urgency on behalf of the Ministry of Energy to get existing IPP'S like the MCPP completed.
4.In a weeks time we expect a government announcement on the power projects which are going forward.
5. Now we have the 3 July RNS.
And thats only the MCPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are not deja vu. We have not been here before. The above is all new.
There is every reason to expect (not hope for) an exciting September.

Well bcl just remember the good guys win in the end.

Just a wee note on the current political situation there.
Mozambique had a vicious civil war in the latter years of the 20th century.
After that resolved Moz with its fantastic natural resources spent 20 years as an economic powerhouse until 2013 when Renamo withdrew from the peace agreement and hostilities recommenced. Some feel that the extent of these hostilities were under reported but imo they have helped to stymie the likes of NCCL during that period.
The good news for them and of course us is that the political will for peace has markedly improved over the last few months and all encompassing democratic elections are now scheduled for October 2019. The incumbent government will want to ensure that economic activity is bubbling away nicely at that stage

So swifty becomes a figure of fun and now Signal emerges. Look at the bitterness of his posts his pseudo technical financialish sweeping statements his unanswered questions. Consider who he is targeting.
Consider also which kind of market player may have an interest in destroying sentiment here ( not that that's really possible now I would suggest).

Actions speak louder than words as they say and the "fact" that we're all still here means we are all to a greater or lesser extent believers.
I think we all get different things out of posting the particular way that each of us do. For me its helpful to me to crystallise my views by putting them down in hopefully logical fashion and leaving them open to debate.
I also admit to enjoying gently winding up the likes of swifty and not so gently at times dealing with Lurker etc.
I don't feel in any way threatened by opposing views although sometimes intrigued by the motivation.
I sincerely believe that at the start of September we will be in a more contented place.

There is no chance of confusion and in any event the other entity is not actually a company.

Don’t take exception to your 9.13 post O&W and don’t think it contradicts my earlier post. For obvious reasons the current lenders are not going to prejudice the company pending the refinancing process.
