There is of course a difference between our chat board and theirs and bear in mind the MM's are very conscious of sentiment.

I wonder whether some of us are viewing this share emotiinally rather than rationally. Not blaming you if that applies to you. Its put us through so much. We know tho’ don’t we that all it will take is one bit of news for our views of Magafuli to turn 180 degrees. The shelf life of positive sentiment in this board seems to be approx 10 days (it takes that long for most of us to descend from a communal feeling that momentum is on our side to communal frustration and depression). Happens over and over again. Like others have said we will all have earned our reward when it comes (especially perhaps the “bi polars”)

The brokers knew or ought to have known the way these things work. The good ones protected their clients.

Face it they are worldbeaters. If they played us at the moment they’d slam 4 goals past us no problem. Great boost to my Fantasy Team too. Goalie and defence packed with Englsnd players.

Pretty well all of us on the bulletin board are convinced (although it took some of us long enough).
At some point in the not too distant future (perhaps even imminently) this volcano will explode. Will it be a gradual steady oozing of lava or a violent pyroclastic flow. Who knows.
It will happen at the point that the market wakes up.
Will that be at the PPA announcement? Maybe. At the Financial Close announcement? Almost certainly the market will at least partially wake up at that point.
I say partially.
Because it may only be over the next year or two that the market begins to twig that its dealing with potentially one of the biggest energy companies in Southern Africa.

It hasn't been easy at times being a KIBO investor so why would we think the last leg would be any the less taxing.
You couldn't have predicted yesterdays events though.
Let me say firstly that I am no fan of conspiracy theories.
When I hear people blame the MM'S for this and that I switch off.
I listen to this one and that one being outed as a "troll" and generally roll my eyes (they may be a pain in the backside but hey)
Then yesterday happened.
The weirdest article was published.
After the initial heartstopping moment it was obvious that the article just didn't make sense on any level. We discussed all that. But why did such a toxic article appear in the first place naming names including KIBO and was its timing purely coincidental? I believe we will never know the the answer to that question. Was it purely coincidence that someone who spoke approvingly of Lurker referenced the article with glee (and for those of us who may not have experienced much real trolling before there was an expert).Maybe.
However I am left with the thought that there may be those who may not want KIBO to succeed and we should be wise to them and never be tempted to do their job for them.
We are at the stage where we have a cogent exciting narrative. It all hangs together. Surely most of us should be unashamedly happy clappers (while making space for such witty wags and loveable numpties as drax and Boff).
Our chat board recently has had a good unified atmosphere. Long may it continue in the weeks before the PPA and the months before financial close.

IMO various people have been chaotically singing from various different hymnsheets in the last year. In the meantime KIBO got a MOU agreed and ratified by the government (as someone has observed well after last April).
Bums were kicked by Maga at the March conference and we are nearly there now. imo if there really has been a recent quote from someone (big if) and its not been misquoted (another big if) its probably a back covering exercise. The article is inherently contradictory.
Negotiations are ongoing. We know that. I agree with others who say that this article is history (probably bad history).

Kibo own KAT therefor own KATs assets. KIBO shareholders imo will benefit from the ongoing increase in value of the nickel and gold. KIBO will only in the meantime imo require to put sufficient funds in to maintain control.

KAT is a subsiduary of KIBO with all that entails.
Value to KIBO shareholders has been enhanced by creation of KAT.
Thats why it was created (to make what should be obvious statement of the month)

Yep and for all practical purposes control of a company equals ownership. Take inyo account the fact that future KAT fundraisings will not affect us and you have the best of both worlds

Could be like Yaki says. Could be a shorter attack gollowing on the Cynical Bear article. Either situatiin would be frustrating bot not worriesom and neither of course would be the company or the governments fault.

Congratulations on your great share price at the moment. Most of us here are confident holders albeit we like a really good moan now and again. Don't really see much point trying to foment a rammy between our respective boards do you?
