The infrastructure and raw materials for the manufacture and supply of EVs on that scale is years away.
I can see the market evolving EVs into something very much simpler in order to share the resources required around.
Many users will not like what that turns into.

But yes, there will still be strong demand for oil for decades to come and it will either run out or become less affordable for producers to... produce.
The producers will also be keen to display how they're switching their business into renewables (something BP is well advanced in doing, at great cost to its' shareholders).
Which will also push its' price up.
Shareholders in these companies (like me) then will not benefit as much because the hike in prices will not be returned to them as freely as now.

They want everyone to be equal.
A classless society in which everyone has equal wealth.
Tony Blair tried to achieve this by elevating everyone to the same level as the wealthiest.
Corbyn, by lowering the wealthiest to the same level as the poorest.
I took my cues from Tony Blair and it worked out better for me than some.
Corbyn (under the direction of the unions', mainly through Len McCluskey) changed Blair's 'New' Labour party to the pre-Blair, unelectable Labour party, getting rid of anyone left over from his era and philosophy.
Even now we're still recovering from Corbyn and Starmer has yet to realise that his only chance of being voted in is to be to Johnson what Johnson was to Corbyn; Less bad.

I think both are ideals.
Similarly I don't consider communism to be the same as socialism, although they are at least more closely linked.

Only started posting here then because all the talk was about how trading didn't work and only LTH's would profit.
Thought my experience might help some.
My... "detractors"... are obviously still of the same mindset and go berserk at the thought of anyone making actual profits here.
