I agree that there should be some kind of tie-in.
But it's the same across the system.
Financial advisers will still charge you their 5% commission, whether or not your investments go up or down.
I chose to manage all of my own financial affairs for that reason.
I've found that I have saved that 5% but also outperformed them by comparing with friends who did take it.
My other investments are all outperforming UKOG too - since I made 10,000% by flipping it so often, otherwise they don't come close.

Hold a lot more BP in my 'normal' portfolio than I ever had in UKOG, so smaller margins make bigger [total] returns.

Still holding too much BP, but had some cash set aside from my pension next year and took the opportunity.
(Same as I used to here... once, before Salmon Slacks wrecked it).

Used my Pension withdrawal cash for this year, so I have until April 5th for it to go back up.
Otherwise I have to sell at a loss.

I remember when we used to be taught that Winter ended at the end of February.
Spring was March to April; Summer May to August; and Autumn was September to October; Winter beginning again in November.
The same Seasons all seem to exist for different lengths and during different months these days.

For months after it would go up and down 20, 30, 40% in a day.
Sometimes several times a day.

If I hadn't been so scared of trading, I would've skinned this then.
Still occasional opportunities.
