btw, I'm certainly not a 'professional', I was a n00b who started out with an idea and an opportunity, which worked at that time.

Personally, I'm negative on UKOG.
I was positive, but that was up until three years ago when 'Honest Steve' started printing confetti to extend UKOG's potential way way beyond its' means.
There have been some really stupid decisions made here and all to start running before it could walk.

It hasn't all been bad.., for trading opportunities due to the volatility created by Steve's dementia .
But even they have mostly dried up. I think the last one was over six months ago.

The sentiment here is such that even the two or three scraps of news due which could have turned this around, are unlikely to any more (Turkey might, but it sounds as if that's dead).

This tactic (which I've tried myself as well, only works if the share picku up again later so you can sell above your average.
Otherwise you should say, "I've thrown good money after bad".

There's nowt here for me now and I've moved my last (minor) investment elsewhere.
I made a lot out of UKOG very quickly four years ago and wish you similar returns.
I just don't see where they could come from.
UKOG is 'snake oil' now.

Until last year, I would normally be able to sell BP on 31st December (once with one minute to go before the bell) and then buy back in Feb, before the ex-div.
Could make several times the yearly dividend, so well worth it.
Too low at the moment to warrant it though.

I do see it spiking higher, but that (they) will be a trading move.
I'm holding some aside just in case.
No brainer for me as I'm still getting the dividend (albeit, still only at BP's covid-reduced 4% p.a.) and I bought them below £2.00 anyway.

I remember how quickly all the infrastructure was shut down and sold off two years ago.
Having had a hand in assembling some of it, I remember being in shock then.
I know how long it takes to put tiny pieces of it in place.

It will three, maybe five years to be able to return the energy supply chain to pre-pandemic levels.
Demand is already returning and should reach the same level next year.
Oil should easily exceed $100.
I did see one prediction over $200, though I find that hard to believe.
