I don't know what's going to happen any more than anyone else.
But resources to build 'sustainable' replacements, aren't sustainable.
Apple (for example) went out and bought their own Lithium mine, to ensure supply for their batteries.
I completely agree that we have to go 'green', just don't see the feasibility.

That's not even mentioning that the population is still increasing faster than our ability to satisfy its' needs.
Fossil fuels are a ticking time-bomb which nobody wants to be left holding it when it goes off.
But I think the life on that thing will be dictated by the supply left in the ground, rather than their replacement.
As I mentioned I am certainly sceptical of the price of oil reaching $200 in the next five years, but it's still a possibility (however small).

While I believe Brent will exceed $100, I think $200 would be unachievable.
The home consumer couldn't afford that price and would have to at least cut back.
Industry couldn't either unless by passing the increase onto home consumers, with the same result.
No market; no demand; no supply.
It would also push my average annual figure up to 30%, making my own portfolio worth more than a billion within 20 years.
I remain a sceptic.

I think your strategy dictates how much chance there is of making money here now.
Patently the information UKOG used to acquire investors is widely regarded as fantasy now and Sandercon chose to just (to use the latest american phrase); "Fake it until he made it" and didn't care who he suckered in or how much of their cash he lost.

I think we can all see who the board are paying to try and keep moral up.
Sad the posters they've chosen don't really have those skills.

You moan about my posts all the time.
You don't filter them.
But you don't actually read them either.
I've made three posts since Friday saying that I am not invested here and that I go in and out, depending on the investment opportunity.
However, while I believe I post fair comments, I have been negative on UKOG since 2018, since Sandercon started diluting shareholders wealth.
I post this aaaaaaaaaaaaall the time and have done for at least four years.
Bit embarrassing for you when you want people to listen and pay attention to your wisdom, don't you think?

Occasionally such opportunities do arise.
If you're a confident LTH, it's perfectly logical that this would also be a good short-term strategy.
