@Peakybinder we will see when the full statement is released in March. Hopefully the savings initiated in September will have brought that debt pile down significantly, the 163ct diamond post reporting won' have done any harm either :)

As mentioned, sell the news, everyone knew money would be needed once acquired, 8p warrants are double the placing price, placing at 4p, would anyone else have lent the money cheaper? At least it's not death spiral financing and the placing was got away at reasonable cost. Gla including the De ramp brigade.

No but they have produced a receipt of the transfer, we all know how banks like to keep hold of money between making payment and receipt of funds to eek out that extra few quid in interest

@NMH21 from previous RNs when Jones hit 13.46% he held 351,217,551 shares, although he now holds a smaller % of the rights (8.2%,) he now holds over 50,000,000 more shares. As mentioned by others the decrease in % is due to a dilution in total rights.

Both yourself and @Fronteracheckin are missing a point, there is going to be a placing of 7.5m meaning 7.5billion shares at 0.1p meaning a share base of 12.5b before the takeover. The takeover is being paid for by an issuance to give 80% of the resulting shares as payment. Meaning 12.5 billion shares is 20% of the company so there will be 62.5 billion shares in issue.

It means they are putting a value of approx 56m on the acquisition, is Gulf worth that ?

Surely they will fail to get a £7.5m placing away at 0.1 even. That will put 12.5 billion shares in issue and that 12.5b will only represent 20% after rto so 62.5 billion shares in issue after rto and placing.

@paternostpauper yup, I get caught out frequently hence why I pretty much gave up investing for years, probably caught out again with VAST but managed to get my money back here with a little loss. Truly hope for anyone holding that news comes along of a breakthrough and sky rockets the share but ATM it looks to be being manipulated there and back.
