I had a small amount in my work pension from a while back. It is much reduced in value. Pensions and Sipps don't have the agility of a stocks and shares ISA or trading account where you can react quickly to news and SP fluctuations. My learned view for AIM shares is that you must be able to react to events and take advantage of SP movement to keep on top of your average. I was better off in the last year only ever investing half of my cash position and being able to take advantage of the placings rather than moaning about them. When the SP went below .25 last winter I was able to hugely improve my position - in my view it was an absolute gift that I hadn't planned for. It's been a hard luck lesson but now I'm in a strong position for the next set of news on HE1. Don't expect that small position in my pension to ever get to a profit. I also only invest in 1 or 2 AIM stocks at a time.

Toffers - it's literally just hack hyperbole. They will look for anything to try to get an angle. KS acting within the rules for declaring gifts and using his mates flat for convenience (no money changed hands) is just not explosive news. It's explosive hyperbole targeted for political purpose. Might agree with you about corruption in general but the whataboutery since the election is becoming wearisome - the Sky News coverage has been particularly weak on this.

In order to confirm buys v sells you would need to contact every single PI, broker, institution etc that has placed a trade and ask them. Then you would have a list of buys v sells that would tell you nothing because the SP is already known and that tells you what is happening with the SP today.

Yes alternative views or even just views are absolutely allowed. Keep it interesting mind.

I suppose if we were linked to the Noble announcement we would have got an HE1 RNS about it at the beginning of Nobles suspension.

Nobles announcement is more than likely about funding for Noble only but I do think it's possible they could hire our rig for 3 months and that would pay for half a dozen of our development wells next year.......

This is how you can tell if someone has an objective view or not. Absolutely harmless newspaper article but still trying to find something wrong with it. These folk do not have anyone elses interests in mind.

Why would it need to have anything else written about it. Chances are that the readers of this publication have never heard of HE1 - now they do.

I think the truth is that they are working through exactly what they said they would. I was expecting a revised sub surface analysis and resource estimate but now I'm not actually sure they have finished it. The ML is a bit of a red herring and something of a done deal. I expect a mining application can contain pending information and refer to future events. Likely the ML provides a view on a number of different funding avenues and mixtures of those and the ministry has already decided to take any risks associated with that. It isnt like handing in an exam and that's the last you hear about it until you get your marks back - the partnership with government is exactly that.

News will come when they are ready. I don't think anything is being held back for whatever reason.

It wouldn't be the first time we had a surprise from HE1. I do think the silence this week is challenging.....

IMHO LSE isnt doing enough to manage these message boards. I appreciate that requires some investment but all other Financial Services companies are required to act when there is blatant influencing of the market. Normally I would say it doesn't matter what people write on these boards but this week I think it does impact confidence and they know that.

In reality, think of a room with half a dozen people in it. On the white board there is a list of logins for LSE. They spend the whole day betting on stock positions and at the same time ramping or deramping on message boards to try to influence those stock movements.

That is REAL.

Castlepaul. I'm very surprised by that view of the BlueStar deal. It provides a potential revenue stream to progress the companies other interests and will be online before Itumbula - even with the best will in the world it will be online before Itumbula.

It isnt without risk but it is clear strategy. I felt it looked good on the day it was announced.

How much do we think HE1 would be paid if we leased out the drill to Noble? Enough to drill a number of development wells i expect?

It’s funny that because every other AIM share is also like COPL according to the de ramping crews. It’s almost as if it’s just one of the many tropes used from the de ramping handbook.
