Dickie T. I appreciate you responding and your point about hypotheticals is valid. We all manage risk differently and you are correct to stick to your principles.
I too expected to see ML content in that RNS or at the same time and I expected to understand the size of the prize. Had they stated categorically that the data was commercially sensitive I think they would have needed to explain why and perhaps, legally, it is better to settle on the general commerciality of the ML proposal rather than reveal the details before the license is approved. It was a clear pivot point from a risk perspective and the SP is likely lower today as a result - something I took full advantage of and I appreciate there is some risk in that.
I note that Lorna stated categorically that there would be no placement before the ML was issued and that they are seeking non dilutive funding. I don't think these are things that you can write down ahead of knowing the outcome. That assured me that there is positive engagement on all sides but nothing that could be communicated in an RNS at the time.
