The market wants to know they have successfully cased the well through the shale.

It's quite interesting because the volume is so low that between you, you have pushed the SP up a little. Congrats on a great price.

Didnt it go below 1p a few weeks ago and then went back up to 1.2. It's normal. Waiting for news.

Kaeren. I was suggesting that if I wasnt invested I could wait for a couple of weeks because the SP isnt moving right now because there won’t be any further news until they case the well…..

I haven’t left HE1. I’m invested in both companies. Adults are allowed to do that.

I think one of the issues for us investors is that we think the ML application is a completely sorted line in the sand that contains all of the necessary fact and figures written in blood and final. I doubt it is.

I'm actually not convinced that the reserve estimate work is finished. They could easily state they believe it to be - greater than x - and prove it out later. These application processes are complex with information and questions coming in throughout the process. They can probably bring in experts and external views as part of the process. Do the lawyers get involved after the initial application is submitted - I bet they do.

Nothing would surprise me. We could get an RNS with chapter and verse on the content of the mining application tomorrow - but you know what - if it contained even the slightest reason for doubt the market will hammer it. Better to assume the BOD understands how to work in the best interests of shareholders - it isnt always obvious to us how.

Ihavenoclue. If it's 2 weeks away why does the market need to focus on it today? It doesnt. I read todays RNS as a useful timetable but if I'm honest it doesnt on its own provide an argument to invest right now ( I am invested as it happens). If the SP takes off then maybe I might get twitchy and want to invest before it's too late - but it's not moving at all.

I do think that 2 weeks can be described as 'several' mind you. It's also far more likely to be 3 than 2.

The thing is - the market likes it but it isnt ready to invest because it doesnt need to yet. There are several weeks before the next de risking RNS - well cased RNS. I could sit on my hands and wait until the SP starts to recognise the potential and that's really not a bad investment decision. Shale in the hole isnt a good thing even if we are confident it can be resolved. Yes if the hole isnt successful they have the funding to drill again but the market knows and so it sit's on it's hands for a bit longer.

Of course for most of us we decided to invest early. We took on the additional risk for the greater potential for growth.

Until a mining company gets to production it is seen as highly speculative - which is fair enough when you consider the number of dead certs that turned out not to be dead certs over the years. There's lot's to like here (no dilution on the horizon, strong gas shows and plenty of evidence to suggest it could be viable etc.).

For most of us I suspect we like the risk/return profile and that is why we are here. There is potential for big gains but if everything was certain the SP would be a lot higher already and most of us wouldn't bother because we are high risk investors and would put our money elsewhere.

Shift the shale and I think it's game on.

So likely the drill will be on site and set up by Friday. Then 7-10 days to case the well. IMHO it is the completion of well casing that will trigger an uplift in the share price. This is seen as the current risk that could potentially block progress. If they can case the well through the shale then game back on. Waiting is completely to be expected.

But you are talking about a future when a discovery is confirmed? Regardless of the positivity and carefully managed presentation - the gas has to be confirmed. If that happens I agree with you, specially if it's anywhere near what the BOD is suggesting.

I trust HMRC with my personal data. I just don't trust LSE to keep anything safe. It's not a rational thought - but based on how they manage the site overall I'm not convinced they have the competence.

Whilst the BB is full of carp. No way would I be prepared to share any personal data or formal ID with LSE.

I'm much more on top of filtering now. Every one of them is obvious from the first post. Report and filter.

Which is why you should report them and filter them. It works. Practically every user name on my filter list is banned. You will be helping the community.

Nothin worse than tea without boiling water. My missus can't make tea, She asks if I want one and I generally say yes and then sneakily poor it away and make a fresh one. I hear her boiling the kettle and then there is an age before she puts that water over the bag.... I have tried explaining but it didnt go well. I always make that tea at the boiling point.

RNS stated mobilisation week commencing 30th September. So likely will move the rig to site in the next few days. Not sure they will RNS that or wait until they re enter the well.
