It sounds like a double edged sword to me. If you enforce a no steroids protocol then you take forever to recruit the numbers. If you go with SOC including steroids then you can't show efficacy.
In the real world this type of product approval takes many years and during a pandemic you try to move faster by catching the wave.
Does Activ2 allow SNG to be used ahead of that SOC? i think so, hence that is where we might get some better news. There must be some efficacy evident in that trial for it to have been progressed to phase 3? That's was my thinking. But it will need to look very good indeed.
