Thinking the same, most obvious is that the contract is not recoverable and is written off rather than the 'expect' a couple of weeks ago.
If this is the case not sure whether a rights issue would be on the cards. CEO would need to be given his cards as well.
As shareholders we should be kept informed here.

Only surprise here is that he is leaving rather than being sacked, as I have said previously the lack of understanding on this board of the complete lack of contractual and financial control is astounding.
I was not aware he was also in house counsel, would like to know whether they took external advice on this deal from a law firm specialising in Chinese tech contracts.

Agree that the economic impact will be dire for 21, with the poorest government in living memory and cabinet filled with intellectual lightweights the UK will suffer worst - add corruption on top as well. Brexit will multiply the impact. With an economy built on consumer spending based on housing wealth, the impact on buy to let with unemployed twenty and thirty somethings going back to parents will cause major price falls.
Hopefully uk will make a small proportion of worldwide sales.
I feel opti is in a much better position than most of my portfolio. Balance sheet is stable without the need for a capital raise, the p&l is highly leveraged to the bottom line on salesincreases. Although revenue growth will take a hit, growth would still be triple digit.
Have held for a year and a half, and intend to hold for at least a further 3 years.to see this play out. As with you I am nursing a slight loss on my 30k shares.

This is meant to a a boring share, not a mining company in chad or a tech company with zero revenue?

For q4 I think they will want to do one big orders release at the start of next year, rather than dribble bits out before the end of the year. Software orders notoriously blackened and will include renewals from prior decembers.
All the price action happens with a release (with the notable exception of the market report) so I think you are safe letting the price drift around.

- Now we have the cash funding sorted I am happy to wait, but would like to get back to my average buy price of 30p asap so this is not a red mark on my portfolio
- Really surprised the Indian news did not make more of an impact, wondering if we would be here in nearer 13p without it
- As a company y totally under the radar, a recommendation from Simon Thompson ( not that I am a fan) would send this higher by 50%
- Glad that the board are not playing the usual aim pr game, ramping this up but just getting on with running the company
- Due to the tightness of shareholding s this should rocket on any good news, I think all the main contributors on this board are medium term holders and have been through enough, and understand the potential, not to take a 20% gain

Vas, should have followed your lead, just wait until Simon Thompson writes and then sell after its jumped. Also took to opportunity to top up at these lower levels.

Like pm44 I am a longer term shareholder with an average buy price of c 23p, put money into the share offers supporting what looks to be a British co.many with world leading technology.
However the recent treatment in the accounts implies a lack of commercial and financial control which would lead to the sacking of the CEO and cfo in virtually any other company.
Like pm44 we have seen a lot of promises followed by a lack of delivery. I am holding in the hope they get some financial discipline in place. If they do I think the current share price will be a steal.

15p would be my guess. 10p would not be acceptable, with the board holding shares I doubt they would sell at this level just above the price before the suspension.

Dan, it's one or two days after two years of constant loss. Anyway, hope for a few more days like this.

There is a real difference between diluting as below current share price and diluting paying a premium - where you own less of a higher market valuation and you share should be worth more.

Agree the stupid takeover attempt and payment to pull out left most shareholders, including mys elf, on the intelligence And integrity of the board. Hopefully they will stop mucking about on stupid mba type rubbish and focus on delivery.

Brill, this is pretty standard for most listed companies - you should see it as part of the cost base.
As someone who has worked for us companies I am jealous of this from an employee's perspective due to tax and zero risk. I think the worst one was the bt one where employees made off with a fortune.

I think we all agree undervalued with the current sp, if this was on nasdaq it would be at least double.
Point then is what will push the share price firstly to £4, and then on from there ? is it just Shareholder sentiment to small companies, no influential cheerleaders in the press, lack of a a key fund buyers are ?
Financial performance is good in a booming podcast market, hopefully they can focus after the acquisition stupidity last year and the recent strategic review - but I cannot see even strong numbers really pushing this to where we think it should be, even at the moment to 225p in the short term.

Suprised, as a shareholder I sincerely hope the contractual control in any new contract is far better than recent history.
Reading the cfo commentary on the annual report it is very clear they were aware that their customers were not credit worthy (talking of small entrepreneurial companies) and were reliant on their customers paying them - effectively a pay when paid in An emerging market where commercial / contractual law is woolly in a dispute process. Yet still contracted with a payment structure completely unaligned to kromeks working capital.

Hedge - understand your reasoning, I cannot understand the bod looking around if they were only going to accept £8, at least it flushed out the new investor paying above market.

We now need to get to £4, admittedly from what you and I consider to currently be undervalued. I am not sure a continuation of strong revenue growth in excess of the market and getting to a breakeven position will do this. Possibly a candy buyout, major director buys or the new shareholder topping up?

From my perspective I have 6500 shares and just about breakeven, will hold for the medium term.

Unless you have verifiable insider knowledge I doubt his is correct.
I would take 4 quid a share, if the board received this offer they should have put it to shareholders.
No I cannot think of a company bought at 4 x current price because they don't exist - as is this case.
As with yourself, believe this is very much undervalued will continue to hold on the medium term.
