Unsure on a full takeover, possibly just sees value for the medium to long term. I don't know enough about the way he operates to see whether he is nappy holding a minority stake ( in a well run company) where he may have a voice at the table, or wants full control.

This really is a micro cap at £10m, most smaller companies funds would not consider investing at this level as it is too small or their mandates would not allow it.
I do follow downing, river and mercantile and miton investment trusts which are micro cap just to see what they are buying. Miton is a shareholder here.

Do one know a lot about phd but sis has a great product range and market position - giving ltip on brand reputation should not happen as a move of 1 or 2 percent won't make much difference now.

The ltip should be a mix of revenue and cash, with gates based on absolute profitability and nothing for a loss.

I think the share price will not move, even with new contracts, until we have clarity on the accounts. Any new cfo will take a very prudent position on accounting matters, and we still have no confirmation on the Chinese contract after the "expect" wording a couple of months ago. I cannot restate enough just how much risk the company took with this contract, either knowingly and pretending everything will be okay or through poor / non existent commercial and financial rigour.
Until we have this confirmation I think the share price will remain in the 12-14p range.

From a lack of action today, as would usually follow a mention in ic, assume not.

With today's rise now up to a £10m market cap, even if this has a doubling just goes to £20m - incredible.

Just to confirm a non disclosure agreement is standard and written into the base contract to protect both sides of the contract in every company I have worked. It is actually the exception t o take it out, and when it is taken out there are strict guidelines on communication which may include parties not being named.
