The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Morning Suzy... Yeah I agree, very poor from Bowie. I don't see how he is an improvement from Kurt. Should of sold the lot at 15-20p on the concession award. Unlikely to get back to those prices now. It's the last AIM tiddler I'll 'invest' in.. sticking with mid caps and above from now lol
I think there will be, the company said there would be but no great shakes if there isn't.. aslong as the results show that the turnaround is going as planned..
Yeah it's a strange one, a few stocks acting similar since Jan. Decent insider and ii buying in ASOS has done nothing but it gives us confidence. Hopefully this drive down will just clear out the weaker hands and the shorts can then depart. Love to know the free float.
Expertise are non existent in the raising money camp. Why do they have to tell every Tom dick and harry about the placing 3 weeks before announcing the price? It’s like they want it to be driven into the ground to dilute as much as possible!
By comparison Kefi announce a placing via primary bid on the 4th with the discount and it’s done. We tell the market first so the share price drops 30 or so % then a few weeks later do another 30 or so % discount to the average share price of the last week or so. It’s a joke and the whole thing stinks.
It feels deliberate for maximum destruction and dilution.
He knows the state of the market and retail in general and clearly sees this as a bargain, and believes the turnaround will happen. He’s not in for a quick buck, and will most likely hold for years. Follow the money they say ;)
Typical AIM death spiral we are now victim too. Companies with worse prospects than us seem to get better financing deals and look after their PIs more than BEM does. So much for having quality assets in tier one jurisdiction lol. Appalling, you are correct Eric..
I won't be taking part in the fundraise but may buy some on the open market if/when it goes sub 0.70 to buy them sell when it gets manipulated higher over the next 12 months to let the underwriters out at a nice profit.
0.61p and over a billion shares to be potentially issued. Ouch.. very poor management. Tell the market we are doing a fundraising which drops the price by 30-40% then after a few weeks say they are doing it at a 30% or so discount to ongoing price.. wow.
