ITVX has launched the first British Sign Language (BSL) channel globally. The new streaming platform will host a station that only has signed programming and will be regularly updated with new material. ITVX will have subtitles for over 90% of on demand programmes....Metro

McCall has already signalled that she's looking at hiving off studios and 'feeling out potential offers' which is a cute way of soliciting the true value of them. Agree, with a 20m UK viewer match coming up on Saturday as England v France it should be a good ITV weekend. That's sweet music for both advertising revenue and downloads of the App.

So many contributors fail to do fundamental research on their shares before making uninformed comment; apologies to those who obviously do. Go research all aspects of ITV, ITVX, studios, Planet V, AdLabs etc. Not just company info but extended evidence from advertisers and product users who engage technically with ITV plus worldwide extensions. Solid.

Streaming was the ONLY sensible option for ITV to take as viewing habits are rapidly evolving. The launch of Planet V as a techstack for advertisers was a prelude to the launch 2 years ago and has become a must have tool for them. Combine this with audience targeted AdLabs technology and you begin to get the drift. Studios is an excellent stand-alone profit generator as will increasingly be the media arm. If you like what is happening stick with it, if you don't, then invest elsewhere. Solid and embracing change. Few of the current detractors are putting McCalls building blocks together, go DTR.

I've given you the benefit of my informed decisions to invest here in ITV and every one still stands. Unlike those who continually berate Carolyn McCall I am happy at the way she steered the company through all the Covid restrictions imposed on studios in particular during 2020 and 2021. ITVX is essential for ITV to flourish despite its few dissenters. She has a clear vision where she sees both media and studios and is as frustrated as are all investors at the undervaluation here. She will use the same latent drive that she showed at Eazijet to drive ITV forward. You either agree with that or not. If you do, stay on board, if you don't, then go follow another company....simple. Solid company.
