What price are you hoping for DBNO? My target was 13p but seems like the low may be in as we are moving in the other direction. Are you shorting it down?

Yes I’ve jumped back in for a first tranche too. Was waiting for 21p but given the market move today and the fact this hasn’t followed I thought I would jump in. Too exciting to be out given the potential results over the next few months. I just hope they stick to plan and spud as per the last communication

Someone wrote a good piece on here the other week when we were at £5 about sp dynamics on AIM. We are now in that third phase of hanging on waiting for news as the price falls. The next phase is even uglier

What an update. Gutted I didn’t pull the trigger on another tranche yesterday at 55p. Will be waiting to see if I can get some more at 63p in the next week. I think the price will hold up well though

Just sounds like he’s trying to make a few quid with all the volatility. Huge risk vs the reward but good luck with it. I’m staying well out of it for the next month

Interesting. Talking of BP , the Sun God is saying this is a bit like the 1980s. He’s expecting oil price to stay low for a while like it did then...17 years! His reasoning around demand not recovering seemed logical

How is this holding up so well? I guess many got in at 13-15p so not feeling too much pain. Still a strong sell though

RK are you saying if the sp is 63p next week it will likely go down to 53p as a result of the extra shares in issue? I thought they would be all forward sold and as long as those that bought them don’t all try to sell at once creating extra selling pressure then there should be no impact on the sp?

I’ve seen shares drop and rise when placing have been announced but never much effect when they actually hit the market

Yorkshire, immunity from Covid-19 having had the virus is looking less probable than we had hoped according to scientists. In fact they believe a vaccine will offer greater long term immunity. I don’t believe we can vaccinate the entire world for years so see testing being the primary control for a very long time.

Hants, I don’t think the discomfort from the test is relevant. Millions are being tested around the world like this at present and it’s been the standard test for many years. Injections can be painful, that doesn’t mean you don’t have it. Of course one or two people will complain which the media will jump on for sensationalism.

For me the USP here is the fact you do t need a lab to complete the test. Gove talking to Marr this morning said we have capacity to do 38k PCR tests a day but are only doing 21k. We now have the issue of getting the people to the test (some of the constraint is driven by policy to only test frontline healthcare workers at present). AVCTs test remove a key bottleneck and could allow testing up to multiples of the gov end April target. It opens up demand and creates a bigger market itself. That is why I am in here.

If I was you I would sell and bank the £27k. That’s just me though. It’s what I have done. Might dip my toe in for a few towards the close.

It would be sensible to redistribute across a range of shares or better still keep some in cash. I don’t know what your overall portfolio is like but it’s never a good idea to have too much in one share and the rise here may have unbalanced your portfolio so need to adjust.

If the sell gold in $ and pay costs in Ruble then the devaluation of the ruble against the dollar is a positive. Not sure if that’s what you are saying. They pointed this out in the RNS on 20th March.

I sold out first thing too. Been in since 125p with 10k so its a case of not being greedy for me. Yes I believe this could go to £10 however the risk vs reward has changed for me personally. I think buying in here at 440p isn’t a bad idea but I see other bargains to look at over the next few months. Any further pull back and I’ll probably jump back in for a few. Good luck all and DYOR

Would love to see £10 but the selling pressure on the way up will be huge. Even clearing £5 has proven difficult. Hopefully smash through tomorrow but expect lots of profit taking. Need someone big to buy in regardless of current sp

Does any of this nonsense about timing the release of RNS actually happen though? Sounds unethical to me. I’d much rather the team focus on continuing to grow the business, delivering what they say they would and generally helping the world out of this crisis. Sure I’ve seen RNSs released in response to sp movement to dispel rumour but I would have thought they just release the news as and when ready. The sp is just a distraction to the fantastic job they are doing for all stakeholders

I feel now the idea of $10 oil has been mentioned it will happen in the next few months as the enormity of the demand destruction is realised. I do think we will then be in for a sharp bounce. I will be waiting and buying any companies that survive this
