No problem Wilson, a lot of the heavy lifting was done last year, R&D isn't anywhere near the burden it is when you have a revenue stream.

I looked at the results from an American pharma last year and R&D only accounted for 1% of revenue, sadly I can't remember which one. Obviously if you have no income then that 1% is a hell of a lot of everything.

The icing on the cake being that some of that R&D is transferrable as well, such as promate.

We spent 1.6m in 2020 on R&D, it's in the final results.

I still feel the 4.7m will be a drop in the ocean considering how quickly they burned through the initial supply, unless of course covid magically disappears in the next month or two. Poidster was indeed correct, the NHS had blown through its promate within 3 months. That 4.7m contract was simply to get stocks of it on shelves while we're in dispute,the tip of the iceberg. I'd expect that to be significantly extended in the absence of a satisfactory resolution.

They've sequenced around 400k results in the last month, so it looks like things are accelerating there.

Things to note, the board are in place until 2023 - voted last year however the new CEO will require ratification by shareholders. They were also given clearance to issue shares of up to 10% of the current share capital which at the moment would only raise around 20m. They may seek to increase that at the next AGM, so it's something to keep an eye on.

On the basis that they're there until 2023 they may feel pretty comfortable with ignoring PIs. However, under french listing rules an egm can be called by any shareholder or group controlling 5% of the company so perhaps they shouldn't feel too comfortable.
