Does ABDX even have a ce marked professional antigen test, nevermind a home test? Avct doesn't have ce for their professional test either. Yet we struggled to close flat, welcome to AIM.

So they want to use a professional to administer the test, how about we just stick with PCR and cut out the middle man. LFTs are going to work out just as costly to the consumer with no benefit in terms of surveillance. Just remove the vat associated with them.

No one will want this to go to court least of all the government, NDAs will go out the window and all communication between each party will become public. Something the government has been fighting tooth and nail to avoid in the high courts.

@poidster, 330k tests, circa 170 Qs. If each Q ran 50 tests a day it's a little over a months worth. The question is, do we supply more or do we play hard ball. That 4.7m contract should have been nothing more than a stop gap while negotiations went on to an amicable resolution.

Considering 4m trips are made from the UK to the US normally per annum I imagine the nature of the test required for entry is going to be important to people and test providers.

If we did this on nothing more than a nod and a wink from the DHSC then questions have to be answered by the BOD at the AGM. What was their rationale if they had nothing signed in blood? I suppose the same could be said of a number of diagnostics companies who tooled up for them only to be stonewalled.

It's a pity (and unsurprising) they don't want an in person AGM, they could have easily used some of that vast amount of inventory to test every attendee.
