RE: R&D RNS30 Sep 2021 10:20
The LFTs were a side show, a panic development. The regulatory delays have been known about since at least August, hence why I wasn't happy with the response from Mullis at the Q&A, this disappointment could have been avoided if he'd just fronted up and told it as it was. Other shareholders of companies in the LFT space should take note and NCYT should stick to what it's good at.
Wonder if these regulatory delays will impact the governments decision to switch day 2 testing requirements to LFT because in November you will not be able to sell LFTs that haven't been validated through the process and the testing service providers have already said they will struggle to meet demand. Then we have Biograd significantly dropping the price of PCR to below that of most LFT services in any case.
Coprep is an excellent addition to the Q16/32 range, taking away the labour intensive fluid prep and perhaps the solution to our dispute with the DHSC along with promate. I'd be interested to know if it could be used for non promate products in a cat 2 lab or is it NCYTs intention to make all future near patient products Promate.
