Yip correct there is direct and indirect staff.

In certain contracts some individuals were named. I think this has now changed to roles.

Direct is recoverable. Indirect is overheads!

Capita contracts allow them to capture these costs and apply them to the contract. My view is if they are an old contact with low margin they will be captured and the customer updated !

If they are a new contract this may be factored in depends on the customer! Capita are very smart in this area!

We know that the majority of public sector jobs will not go offshore! But on the other hand they can be automated!

Moved UK Contact Centre to SA, with an improvement in SLA and better Margins for Capita.

This has happened.

So what happens next TFL Contact Centre moving to SA. I think it is on the cards.

PCSE contract is due for renewal next year could it also follow!

Within 12 months big changes can happen!

Can you imagine moving the HMRC Contact Centre to SA

With using AI and a small UK Contact Centre you could improve Customer Service lower costs and increase margin!

SA is becoming a very popular location for off shoring, because of language, timezone, and culture.

The increase in NI is likely to drive more off-shoring.

Long term I also see a reduction in India as an off shoring location as more suitable locations in the EU such as Poland etc.

When the war eventually ends in Ukraine, it will also be a key location.

So what of the UK.

Clearly the message is don’t employ people in the UK!

The biggest problem is that SIPP’s will be added to Inheritance tax its a double whammy with IHT and notional rates for benefactors!
