Agree this is the right approach. As an ex Capita employee who retired, I am heavily invested and will stay so until I get the return I want. Likewise I have worked in the automation and business efficiency for 20-30 years. The current AI capabilities are at early stages but the returns are high! They will only get better. I would love to continue work in this area but am well past retirement age. At some point you have to retire!

But I will do so in comfort! 😀🥂

AH has a plan which he is executing on. Some of these changes started in early 23. Its been a big job sorting the problems plus Brexit and Covid.

Capita is going back to what it was. Technology has changed and Capita is using this technology to make a difference. I have worked with most major IT companies in the UK. I highly rate the Capita Techies and AH’s new team.

At some point the UK Gov will have to invest in this technology whether they like it or not.

Capita’s customers are the highest quality contracts often difficult to work with! But they are very financially secure!

Once FCF returns the magic sauce is there for Divis and a rerating. Hence the nonsense to buy them cheap!

Yes that is correct but the two solutions are different so the pricing will be different! Capita will need to resubmit pricing!

The NI project is long term and huge in value.

My expectation is that they will agree to a small contract for the short term, so that they can price for a longer deal. So they are holding back on this one. Remember the size if the Ni contract it is huge!

This is likely the NI Education network, this is the one that Fujitsu had to withdraw from. Capita are looking after this in the meantime. Capita had to withdraw from the original tender at the last minute due to software licensing issues!

Finally to agree to AI services within Civil Service. Capita has been working on this for several years Expect several contacts using AI in 2025. PCSE are due in the next few months. TVL already has a relationship with Kyndral and Capita.

2025 is the year for AI and automation. NhS is ripe for automation.

Hopefully Rachael will be sent to pasture hopefully they will find a blind bull who is not fussy

Automation costs about 30% of agent costs. Outsourcing in India costs around 50%. Its is and always has been cheaper to automate. Its also easier now to step call volumes!

Capita manage the Kent Public Service Network. Renewed early this year. Capita are very well placed to execute on this as they have an excellent relationship going back over 10 years.

Very poor article! Every company in the UK will be affected by NI increases. However they don't apply until April. Secondly nearly a third of Capita’s staff is employed outside the UK and so will not add any additional cost!
