Yip been waiting now for a while!

I think Capita may do a Freddy tomorrow!

Its big but there are changes which may apply . Current system is based on HPUX virtualised in the Capita Data Centre

This will migrate to the cloud .

Also the current Avaya Contact Centre will migrate to the new AI Contact Centre solution.

so it will be a big Contract based on typical 5+2 years

Not sure what the new staffing levels will be with AI solution!

Its a guess based on normal process.

We are all waiting on clarification however it is likely to follow from the previous tender.

Remember there is new hardware and software 5+2 is the norm!

The previous revenue was for support only. The contract extension will include software and hardware changes. The value will be different!

There was a lot to be settled on the contract from a legal point of view. Thats why, but the contract will be 7 years 5 plus 2 is likely. Don't know the exact value just yet. look back on my posts of last year detailing what happened. As an ex Capita employee I can only talk about what is in the public domain.

Needless to say the Fujitsu solution was a no go doomed to failure.

Capita has remained honourable doing right by the customer at all times.

Yip I would expect AH to make the most of this.

Several things to remember this is the end of the UK tax year there will be other contracts being issued.

The extension is for 7 years from 2025

This modification will enable the continuation of the existing single contractor managed service arrangement which includes the supply of a broad range of computer and related services (including, without limitation, on-going management, operation and maintenance services), information technology consultancy services and the supply of computer hardware, software and associated products. The systems and services provided via the current contract have been uniquely configured to reflect the varying requirements of the Education Authority

I’m a techie I know what happened and why, unfortunately I am not a financial expert!

Capita had to pull out from the initial bid because of a software licensing issue. This resulted in a court case. I have discussed these issues last year, read my history! Fujitsu pulled out last year lets say the customer was frustrated with Fujitsu. In the meantime the software issue has been settled. Capita had a 2 year contract keeping the service live. Now that Fujitsu has left the customer has extended the two year contract hence the notice!

This was extended in 2025 as Fujitsu bailed out in 2024
