Could easily happen if we just have standard MMs with their 200k/300k blocks but we still have some remnants of a seller who based on previous history once share jumps 10% or more they start to park larger amounts of shares and use automated trading to try and walk share price down. Still there is a ridiculous spread and that needs attention. However its just time and prices today i do not think will be around to much longer. Certainly 2p is long overdue pre news but with good news on Hawiah and seller moving on could spike quite high but fundamentally we know with TK funding resolved we should be on the path to 10p in 18 months and Hawiah mother load announcement should speed up that trajectory.

The more you read the more it reinforces what an incredible opportunity CNEL offers :

PE is only 10 based on current reported profit. Given CNEL has such a strong market leading position it normally should command a PE premium so call it 15-20 but when you factor in a large rise in profits this year then on a forward PE there could be a further 2-3 x in this company in a relatively short time period from its listing price subject to a good Q1.

Great to see the metrics compared to competitors. With an ROCE of 45% that is astonishing return on capital. It shows how strong CNELs market position to be able to extract such high profits from each deal and an incredible growth rate.

You can sense its going to get a great response in HK. When they release Q1 update that should cement its position.

Given today one of the institutions is selling 200m+ shares i am not quite believing DPs call that we he raised with blue chip institutions. Shame really as this share should have shot back up but now held up and lost its lustre slightly. we now need to get some updates but on positive note we can all buy shares at the rights and once the overhang is clear we should set off back to .6 at double quick speed given the £10m will be deployed quickly to Greece and Billingham. Hopefully an update in the next or so.

I decide to move my CNEL holding to Interactive Brokers as they offer full online trading. They are a trading platform used by professionals for global coverage. Also bought some more CNEL today and looks i can trade right up to the last day. I have some in HL so that is locked in for a while but in reality CNEL have a very positive future and will be sticking around.

Just a little more to clear then up to 1.6p. i will be interested if when it gets to 1.6, that our seller does not step in to put 1.5m back on 1.53 or thereabouts. been happening all morning that when we jump up they put in a much larger block than the average MM who is 300k of shares. we know it is not a normal MM and my bet is they protecting a loss making position somehow as they are throwing shares into the market full well knowing the price is rising. seems odd behaviour although we know they had about 5% of the company and that is depleting.

i have monitoring level 2 and presumably Spreadex have been desperately trying to hold down the price throwing up 1.5m blocks of shares that are being gobbled up around 1.5. i have a feeling they are the counterparty to a long long position on their trading platform and still trying to keep the price down. Good luck to them as that is going to be a tough one. Things will really move once they stop trying to slow momentum.

Just a side point but have you compared the market caps of GGP vs KEFI? £473m vs £28m. i guess it depends on your risk reward profile and recommend a bit of balance but both have their significant risks. If Kefi gets its funding over the line it will be producing gold first in 2022 and if it does not we take a cold bath. If Saudi comes in as another $2bn gold and copper reserve then that is another boom and the latter is coming any day now.

Jim knows how unbelievably undervalued Condor is as it is miles behind the gold sector for where we should be based and based on the resource we have. Hopefully this will help clear any backlog from the recent rights issue and see us clear to move forward over coming weeks.

Well if it was not there all this time and new i would take that as very positive. Would be useful if anyone had spotted this before or if new. Thinking more about the whole process if the funding did not reach the target we would have known already as that is fundamental. The delay since tuesday is standard as far as i can see to let the process of adjustment to the agreed price. Feeling positive.

So basically if they do not release news tomorrow morning it is good news and if they do release news it is hopefully good news. if i can pick might go for the former just to take the weekend easy but presumably some people can trade regardless but suspect those pesky MMs can make full use of the time lining their pockets while pis cannot!

I wonder if DP and all his BOD and institutional investors got scaled back 50% lol I guess at least PIs had a chance to invest if they were quick enough to get in as it closed within 2 hours this morning so most people were caught on the hop. The main benefit i see of Primarybid is that they never offer warrants in these retail offerings so in some ways it crimps the usual cream that the BOD and buddies normally get. Now DP please release some news and everyone who was scaled back 50% this morning you know where to use the returned money :)

Well for those who did not get in at .45p, and from the sounds of it considerably scaled back, there is plenty to be had at .5 so marginally more expensive but with news expected that will probably seem very good value in retrospect.

I am keen to know the approximate theoretical date when CNEL would need to do its first trading update on HK as for me that is a key date as we know they are having a bumper year and a growing order book so confirmation of that and updated net profits would be encouraging and could well underpin a re-rate and further improvement in the price.

Price rocketing now that investors understand this raise will be applied and that primarybid was closed very early oversubscribed. Could see the 6s back at this rate today.

Looks our seller has popped up. Must have overslept and nursing a big loss but 1.44 will be bought quickly. Not a lot will hold this back.

Massive news. £10m! That is going to put a rocket under EQT and get those RNS firing on all cylinders. Nobody needs to fret over lack of cash and we removed the Altair debt.
