without going over old news Eve is valued at a tiny £4.5m today, has £7.5m of cash in the bank and has recently updated that its premium bed in a box range are selling well, in particular the high margin hybrid mattress offering and pillows and they broke even in Q3. The woodford 31% share handover that smashed the share price was 8p to as low as 1p has only recently been cleared. We have new management, strong focus on the bottom line and Eve have spent £10ms in the past on becoming one of the best know mattress in a box providers. If the share price does not climb quite rapidly to £10m then almost certainly someone else will spot that opportunity to add a Covid indifferent business to a traditional business that has been destroyed by Covid through lack of showrooms and this will be continue for the foreseeable future. No one is buying mattresses from retailers in any large numbers and everyone are buying online. Eve is in a very good position short and medium term and believe it can get back to 5p-10p within 6 months of the start of profitable trading.

Good to see volumes higher today with a good level of sells and buys so that is encouraging to see new investors. Results tomorrow i hope confirm or beat expectations and we find a new level around 2.5p on a report showing steady progress or more if we confirm a maiden profit.

I think it is spreadbetting platforms but i see this often now in illiquid stocks and i would say there is a degree of manipulation as those small trades can move the spread around and if your someone like Spreadex you could buy and sell to yourself and not to a traditional MM.

Thats what i have been saying. After woodford dump we had big overhang until recently. . Now supply is limited so every reason to see 2.5p again very soon and with good numbers tomorrow we could be off between 5-10p in 6 months but would be good to build new support around 2.5p and take it from that point today. I think many people are getting ahead of the possible rise tomorrow but always better to climb steadily.

2p ASK and level 2 looking it will gap up to 2.5 but lets see how the numbers stack up tomorrow as realistically we should be in solid territory with confirmation of the narrative.

Good to see finally that buying pressure is translating into a rising share price, not seen for a while. Bodes well if we beat expectations, that are arguably priced for failure as we still langish at £3.5m but have £7m in the bank making negative £3.5m valuation. Hopefully the numbers stack up wednesday but can see share price rising into that announcement.

This is a game of supply and demand and really investors need to step up and buy if the company is undervalued. It cant just be a one way street of selling so the company should take the initiative and announce a share buy back programme and to make sure it fully reports all positive news. I think both are warranted as the BOD will be facing a lot of calls from new investors who invested £10m at 10p a share. those investors have every right to be disgruntled. most UK investors are probably holders sitting on a profit and some will sell as soon as they can. The BOD appear to be putting their heads in the sand and hoping and they did that on AIM so they should change their ways and adopt a more proactive stance.

What we need is numbers to match the narrative. Certainly small volumes showing recently but price has firmed more than perhaps it did 3 months ago when there was a lot more supply around and you could buy significantly more. The only question really for me is the overhang from the Woodford as i am pretty confidence elsewhere and the likely upward resistance. 31% of shares entered the market since July 2019 and its hard to know exactly how many went into long term holders etc. Below is the sort of car crash of holding rns but April 2020 was key point as Woodford was out and since then there has been an overhang of shares. Really there is a pretty good runway back up if fundamentals show a turnaround. however it all depends on price levels so my view is there is strong likelihood with good numbers we can get up to 2.5p quite soon. Then i suspect resistance depending on the holders who bought in around these levels and below. But if numbers get better over 6-12 months and perhaps a profit showing of £1m-£2m (not so unlikely if they smash marketing costs) then for mid 2021 we could be testing 10p again as that is £25m valuation, perfectly reasonable PE of 10 for this company. however my assumption is that Simba and Eve might have merged again or one of the top 3 are taken out. There must be consolidation this year of some kind. i think Simba and Eve make sense geographically. Emma is the main competitor and Simba is now profitable so Eve is the laggard.

If you recap July 2019 Woodford fund wound up and share price was 8p and that price was based after a massive loss and turmoil at the top so that was a disaster price factored in. Then over following period share fell to 1.3p with various institutions all offloading. the share price collapse is nothing to do with underlying company but all about the 31% dump of shares.

Still baffled by first day volume of around 120m shares? That is an insane turnover. If DR did drop 25m it got turned over many times and must have caught a lot of the buyers going up to 1.3HK. really it was rabbit in the headlights and BOD must give better explanation and must know truth. Absolutely cant agree that HK mms took it upon themselves to commit hari kari and drive price down between themselves as someone needed to introduce the millions of shares. No i think we are right to think bod are embarassed they let DR convert shares and let them tank the IPO. Pretty gullible stuff to not have a lockin as no CEO wants to bang the gong and before the gong has finished the share dives in 5 minutes. maybe ceo is embarassed my the tactical mistakes of not better taking care of UK side, doing a share buyback, and not letting MMs steal shares for 3.5p on the last few days etc. There might have been big UK holders of stock who managed to get organised and trade on first day and i guess if you held a lot then that would have been a good time but they would have been organised.

Actually personally i think Eve has over cut its marketing. If you search for competitors i cant see Eve sleep appearing. They have cut marketing to the bone. All i know from similar research is the Eve hybrid mattress are selling well and there is limited discounting. Emma on the other hand is going overboard on discounts to maintain growth and competitiveness as Eve are holding their own and might be slowly creating a more premium proposition. All these things change slowly but looks promising for bottom line as we have now had 8 months of positive marketing contribution so that is good for shareholders fedup and discounting and spending on marketing. My worry is slightly they have gone too far in the opposite direction.

I am sure the BOD are feeling the heat and investors do need to communicate. I think the BOD need to work with their PR agency to start solid news reporting on key orders secured and keep shareholders fully updated. They also need to confirm nothing sinister going on as many in China will think company is dodgy. I think a share buy back or dividend announcement is not out of the question. Really the BOD need to act or their move to HK will be tarnished badly. They have simple ways to address what has happened. In uk they would need to make some announcement. Anyone have good contact emails of ceo etc. Many uk investors will be less affected but if 3 days ago you invested at ipo price and it falls 50% for only reason for a stag high altitude dump then that is good for market to know and that its not something else.

Some interesting companies in the mix. Just on Eve I have noticed that the blocksize in the market has dropped in size to 20k of shares which is the smallest i have ever seen. There were secondary sellers of Woodford stock very recently selling in very decent amounts but look to have dropped off as far as i can see. that does not mean to say they are not lurking at higher prices though but most bought above 3p. The walk down from 10p to 1.3p left a lot of buyers entering the market just as the knife fell. If you look at level 2 today there is quite a gap potentially as you can see 2.5p not very far away that has not been shown before. Anyway price is firming and up 10% in a day and level 2 is giving signals the step change might happen soon and we still many days from update.

Spreadex is just walking this puppy down the hill again with a load of 250k blocks but they look to be holding at 1.5p for the time being. They should provide another RNS update on their position in due course but every push will allow new shareholders to get in at low priced stock before further movement. There is solid momentum and we will venture a lot higher in the coming weeks in lead up to the confirmed Hawiah mother lode confirmed maiden Jorc results. TK will be the main course if and when we get further news of talks with specialist mining finance and investors. we should see updates on this progress over coming month or so and therefore at least a couple of RNS updates between now and end of August, each of which will propel this share price forward. Taking a pause on the way up is very healthy to get more support at each level. We pushed 1.825 earlier and i suspect we will see that again very soon as news sinks in and once people do the research on just how big Kefi could be and how undervalued Kefi is for that market position, built up over 10 painful and very expensive years that investors might only now start to enjoy.

You mention so many shares out there for quicker gains so be interested in your picks of interest. I would not classify any Eve RNS likely to be transformational as we know the business and it is a brand known by almost every adult in the UK after Eve spent 10s of millions on marketing in the past. The brand is strong and suggest it is second to Emma in the box variety and there was historically a lot of press interest in the company. The same might apply if Eve can murmur confirmed numbers to say that. This will likely precipitate wider news coverage and that is very powerful both for the brand as well as the share price. Add in the covid link and you have potentially good news coverage of the turnaround. I just look at the type of news necessary to move this company to a market capitalisation of £7m is not very hard. That is double the share price today and that would still be a fraction of the market cap of Emma. The main difference in 6 days is we actually get numbers while trading updates gives us eluding language. Eve should be comfortably, if Woodford had not dumped his stake, somewhere north of £10m so it is a waiting gain but 1-2x is very nice thank-you potentially over the next 6-12 months. i do not think the share will go lower than 1.3p as that has been the floor for sometime.
