Check this out. If they win the court caseit's roughly 6p per share. Two profitable businesses probably 2.5p per share at least. Knock off debt of 4.5p per share leaving 4p for distribution (in theory) Plenty of potential margin here.

Spread doesn't really come into it. I bought on a matched bargain recently and told the broker what I was prepared to pay. The seller decided to accept. Like a bazaar.

Sorry-don't agree. I traded Eurovestech post delisting because I buy for long term value. Happy to invest and hold. I know it wouldn't suit a lot of punters who want in and out quickly. Just look at the buys here yesterday. They clearly agree.

AIM rules haven't prevented scores of companies losing 90% or more of their value. As you can see, plenty of buyers here today because a total liquidation could yield 5p or more per share. I've got my average down to 1.7p and I'm happy to take a punt on the outcome. Place your bets........

They would have to issue massive number of shares to raise a meaningful amount. I think major shareholders would block it. Still waiting for news on litigation and property disposals. Totally pointless for existing long term holders to sell now.

Fair point. I'm sitting on big loss with Cambria but I think both companies will claw back losses when the market for minnows improves.

Not quite. Got a mention in Shares mag yesterday. It's too late to sell and not top of my buy list just now. Lots of us sitting on huge losses I suspect. Wonder what Gyllenhammar thinks of it? Will languish pending upturn in oil price.

This got a buy rating in the IC a few weeks ago. Small caps (and Africa in particular) are right out of favour.I think this will recover but lots of patience required

cash in the bank is nearly 3 times m/c (or it was) so they need to conserve the cash rigorously until the oil price turns upward again. It will happen but this is a test of management skills. Wonder what Athena is producing right now??

I have held these for 5 years. Hit a high of 31p in 2009/10. No dilution or consolidation. Lost about 98% of value. Don't hold out great hopes going forward but I might be wrong!!

The question is a) will they win the case and b) will the monies be used to better purpose than boosting the already too high directors fees.

Over $5mill of debt pre LR sale. I doubt proceeds will be used to pay down debt. Even so I expect profitability to be brought forward to 2015/16 . Directors salaries are exceessive for size of company

Strong sell? At least it is now a couple of profitable businesses with no LR cash drain. Still a possible $10 mill from Lonrho case. Looks promising to me
