Sorry, I think you completely misunderstand me. Having held JOG (in old and new guise) for about 5 years I am fully informed of its history and news. I have traded shares for 50 years , worked for a broker and seen too many shocks and surprises over that time. On the face of it JOG looks dirt cheap and the odds seem stacked in its favour. I was lucky enough to average down when the sp fell back to the 50s so I am in profit and hope to be more so. I certainly wasn't implying that you are vacuous-in fact you are one of the most inciteful posters on these boards. Keep it up. Regards

I really like this company. Been in since the disastrous Trap days and this management team have worked wonders. Still take nothing for granted. There's no guarantee that the oil price will hold at these levels but I'm cautiously hopeful. The smaller and more speculative the share the greater the chance of finding the vacuous poster. Some are quite amusing.

Many people are short term gamblers (particularly with AIM shares) and always looking for the next quick result. That's fine-whatever floats your boat. I'm not expecting 48p but there's still a decent margin for profit-otherwise you wouldn't have bought them yourself.

Take a look at the Investors Chronicle article on 8thJuly. Estimated sum of parts value of 48p per share looks about right to me. I topped up today.

change the fundamentals. There's some excellent companies in their stable and now selling at a huge discount to NAV. Dire market is dragging everything down

I bought in recently . It's a bargain as long as the oil price holds up. In production, 32p NAV. What's not to like. General market conditions holding it back.

drop is a combination of a very jittery market and the second half weighting in the interims. Barring a systemic meltdown this is very cheap on a prospective P/E of about 4. I topped up today (shown as a sell)

I've been sitting on this one for a few years now and it's gone -nowhere. I still believe in the potential so I'm willing to wait for the (hopefully) big payoff.
