Fwiw, just a few musings. Take it or leave it, no advice intended.
A few weeks ago when it peaked out, I suggested that," it will retrace back to a level where it is deemed to be oversold... ...Or a bit of fluffy news tickles some fancies." Others sugested it may go back into the high elevens. News wise, there was an update regarding the IM JR and a statement regarding the "proposed" offer for the IoSSSC. TBH, they didn't do a lot, at the time. And so, after a nice rise today, how have things have played out? Chart wise.
Well, looking back, obviously in hindsight, as that's all TA is, yes? :) The SP did indeed retrace allowing an overbought RSI to cool off and so putting it in a lot better place for what may turn into another leg up, maybe. We'll see.
This latest near term dip has created a low that was higher than the previous one in mid October. Thus creating a rising trend of lows from mid summer when the low then was scraping along the lower side of the long term down trend.
In conjunction with the high points in early September and the more recent one in the first part of November that had themselves bounced off the high side of that same down trend channel, there appears to be an ever decreasing wedge forming. The, "twanged ruler on the edge of the desk" formation, as I call it. It's probably got a more technical name or even a more suited onomatopoeic word for that noise. I used to love the noise it made as you slid it away from the edge of the desk. :)
Anyway, there looks to be a pinch point looming where something has to change. It might. Maybe.
It's either going to:-
1. Bust through the top trend line into an exciting new year with fortune and good times for all. Due to the finance deal being finally sorted and on favourable terms.
2. Hit the top and bottom of those trends in ever derceasing jerky movements until it disapears up it's own bollinger and flatlines into administration. Due to being insolvent and no cash to pay existing debts. (ADVFN version.)
3. Bounce off it yet again and slowly decline into a pit of gloom and despair while we tread water waiting for something to actually happen.
Well, that's what's on my chart. Good luck. :)
(other charts are available)
There was a fourth option where I just make a new chart later. One on which I change every to fit with what actually happens and just pass it off as TA. But that one would be just to annoy Xenor though. :)
But he's on holiday, so shhhh!
;)
