RE: 2023 Annual Report & Accounts14 Feb 2024 15:12
If it helps you to believe the reasons a lot are underwater here are for the reasons given, then you shouldn't have to worry too much about the mcap regaining its former value, and more , that it was briefly after the FSS announcement.
First was the fanfare of it being Astra, with attached warrants, which over time was replaced with a syndicate of banks backed by the UKEF guarantees. This time with no added warrants. Yippee! The update on the 29 Dec 2023 saying that, a year on mind, that they were just about seeking permission from Ministers to advance the, apparently already well advanced, negotiations. And were now ready to appoint some sort of lead arranger to firm up the Bank syndicate. Made me wonder what they had actually been doing all year to progress this enssential deal.
So JW repeatedly saying cashflow is fine, and no need to rush into a finance agreement, whilst all the time pushing back when it might actually happen, or changing who it's coming from, has all seemed a little too convenient.
To me, anyway. BWTFDIK hey? :)
