As the Terramare is in dock for it's new Harland and Wolff paint job, maybe they are installing some deckchairs and have had a banner made that says, "ferry". ;)

Did see in the news section of Northstars website that they had signed also MoU wih Stillstrom for development of offshore charging. Think that may have been flagged up here in the past. If memory serves...

Not sure if it's related but it is the season for those doing their final Bed and ISA's before the new financial year. Was thinking of transfering the few I have languishing in the trading account over, as it takes up less of the allocation whilst the price is down here. Just a thought. :)

In the absence of the Linkedin link I looked at Northstars own Linkedin page to see if they had mentioned the visit. They haven't, just yet, but they did mention that they were attending the Renewable UK's Port and Vessles Conference yesterday in Newcastle.

H&W were not on the exhibitors list and no sign of anybody from H&W attending on the delegates list, afaics. You can downloaded the list, if you want to see who was attending. Did see that Belfast Harbour sent someone. Would have thought that this would have been a far more useful event to have some representation at than some of the Skipper fishing boat things they've been doing. Especially the new Aberdeen branch.

Sorry, under the mid-point. The trade for 7246 paid 11.384 at 08:20 but the ask was set at 11:50 at that point.

They changed the ask price so your trade came in over the mid point that determines (guesses) whether it's a buy or sell.

Yes, "Arnish is now working on five barges". But that comes in as raw sheet steel and goes out as barges. That might have been the delivery from the RDJ Maasstroom you flagged up a week ago.

A "could be", in regards to the Meghan at least, might be freshly H&W Arnish fabricated items being picked up from in front of their Yard, which is where the Meghan keeps returning to, and being delivered/installed out "near" the new terminal. Berthing /mooring dolphins, comes to mind. Like those shown in the new, to me, cruise related video on the Deepwater Terminal website.

There are other businesses Stokey, but Megan looks like it's actually working in the harbour. It's been going back and forth from shore to a point out in the bay. Same as yesterday. More likely in relation the new DW terminal.

Noted that they expect to announce plans for a second ship in the summer. But sticking with known knowns for now, announcing, taking ownership and planing work takes time and although there is no reason to believe it wouldn't get a repeat contract, at this time, it doesn't automatically follow that Belfast would be get that work also.
