TBH, TNNY, although what he did here did change things for the better,but only in the long run, by bringing in JW and Arun. That post was more to do with him blowing his own trumpet and cross ramping another stock. I may be wrong, but AFAIC he just comes across as a bit self serving and diluted this share to hell. IMO. :)

Elffin, I have been playing Elite since the mid Eighties when it was first released on the C64.
Worked in the computer industry way back then. Was totally addicted to the game back then.
So much so that I named my first born after my commander name from back in the day.
Was reintroduced to ED a couple of years ago as my now grown up sons bought their games through Steam and bought me the new version. Have sunk many hundreds of hours into the game and still love it. Boughty some of their shares when they were @ around £10 but, like you, sold way too early. Still have it it on my watchlist but missed out on the big rise as I was playing elsewhere with my funds.
Always nice to see them do well, though.

I did the same during lockdown, BB. Great fun. :) But now back to work I don't tend to do much as, TBH, I've never been so relaxed holding in a company as I am with OO, which makes up over 75% of my PF.
Don't feel the need to be checking at every opportunity during the day either.
Quite relaxed to sit back till after the New Year without doing anything.
And if I had a windfall, this is where I would park it.

Part of the site has existing busineses running from the Bidna yard. Namely Hanson ready mixed concreate, a couple of garages and a recycling business. Maybe the charge on the land relates to them.

I'm local, well 15 miles South down the coast a bit. Was working In Barnstable yesterday and this morning and can see the yard as you drive over the Torridge bridge out of Bideford. Know the site well as I used to get sand from the site next door.
If you saw the amount of new builds in the area of Appledore, Northam and Westward Ho! any parcel of land is being developed at an alarming rate. I had to call in to look at a job in Westward Ho! on the way home last night and saw a load more new houses that were not there a few months back. There are also some large developments springing up in the local towns of Bideford nd Barnstaple.
Appledore itself is a very desireable location and as such property can get a decent price.
I have a mate who's on the local council so I will pick his brain next time I see him. :)

Bab**** gave up on Appledore yeras ago. I know a few people that had to move to work at Devonport instesd.

Where does it say that they paid this 6m? Seen this mentioned a few times but can't find any reference to it in any of the FSRU rns's.
Deadline for singing was last Friday then 8m on FID, 3 years later.
