Anyone else think it's unlikely we would get an RNS in the morning regarding a singned deal on these advanced talks.
If it actually wasn't a done deal on Friday, how can it be on Monday morning?
Unless something has been hammered out over the weekend, that is, they are at least going to need a few working days.

Okay, GG, but It's not set in stone, it was just a time frame I was happy with but I'm willing to be flexible about it if something major happened. As things are turning out CF's plan of doubling the sp every 6 months may have to be shortened.

I must admit the economies of scale when you're pretty much "all in" in one stock have been incredible. The daily/weekly gains making up for previous losses incurred on poorly performing stocks that were all sold, at a loss, to increase my holding here have transformed my PF. Before, I would take it personally and think that I had to get my money back in the share that I was down on. But now, it's only the total worth of my PF that matters and if I lost out elsewhere, so be it.
TBH, though, I never thought that I would be so content to have this much money tied to one share and not be constantly worried.

I don't really have a price target as such, more a time target. Thought I'ld wait to sell up to when CF could sell, just to see what is possible. So, another couple of years.
I know @£1 it would pay the mortgage off but other than that I'm just happy to let it play out.

Spoke to someone re- Appledore yesterday and they were saying that wind-renewables has been definately been spoken about at high levels as regards work for the yard. Also fishing vessels for the Faroe Islands and support ships for Iceland and Ireland. Some of these had been talked about before the yard closed so not sure how much weight they carry. But, smaller craft were talked about when we took over as possible work streams.

Regarding the Atlantic Arry, the original proposal was scrapped some years ago due to opposition but there was renewed interest back last year with proposals to move it further west and North into deeper water beyond Lundy and out of shipping lanes.
For TTNY's benefit that translates to floaty, floaty wurley things. ;)

Yes Gary, I took a chance and cashed in profit elsewhere and averaged down, from 5.78p down 1.36p.
Glad I did, as after having had this languish at the bottom of my PF for years it's good to finally see it on the + side.
Did think about taking the top up back out and putting it back from where it came but I think I might just let run.

Just got in from work and there seems to something up with my PF. It's showing that my AEX holdings are in profit.

Not wishing to be a pedant, but I will. :) Technically they are wind turbines and not windmills.
Windmills mill things like corn and such, whereas turbines turbo stuff, like generators. ;)

Looking the Appledore site I'm not there would be much free acreage for a huge amount of turbines.
Some, but not a lot. The back lot is mostly car parking which I hope they fill up and I guess they would have to be close to the water and with sufficient crainage to get them on to barges for transportation. The yards are also split by other businesses. I know what you mean though, something will suddenly happen. My overiding concern is that they have been given the nod that the ML is a no goer and are going all out in other areas to soften the blow.

Actually, being sick in hospital can open you up to quite a few other potential threats from both viral and bacterial infections, not just what you are in for. One such being MRSA which is mainly contracted in hospitals.
And being ill makes you less able to fight them off.
