If people always take what Cf says verbatim, then they will sometimes be dissapointed.
He does excitedly shoot from the hip when at full flow in an interview so don't hang on the literal meaning of everything he says. It's certainly not an acurate way of timing your trades. If you're that way inclinded.

Doesn't really effect my holdings in any way at this point in time. The only times I was interested in were, firstly, when to transfer a load to an ISA. And after that, when to top up. And TBH, them selling as helped keep to sp down and allowed both to be done way cheeper. All good, AFAIC .

Would have stopped a lot of the second guessing and people taking the meaning of his words to the exact letter.

Maybe the five or six individuals that are obviously in agreement with your opinion want to offer up some actual evidence to back it up. Or are they just so desperate for a conclusion to this saga that anything will do?

I think your confusing an attempt at humour as sarcasm.
Up to now all you have provided is your opinion and not a single shred of evidence that would back up your theories. And as they stand, what you are suggesting is so far fetched as to read like a conspiracy theory or the synopsis of a Dan Brown novel.
Yes, the ML issue has dragged on for what seems like a ridiculous amount of time, even allowing for Covid related disruption. Excessive time in reaching a conclusion has lead to uncertainty and second guessing as to the reason for such a delay.
And, may I say, more ambiguous interpretations.
This delay could be misconstrued as being a bit fishy if you don't beleive it is just going through due process.
It shouldn't take this long, hence there must be something else going on in the background.
That's just pandering to a need for confirmation bias. IMO

Maybe, sometimes, things just take time. Their time, not ours. They don't have a stake in the outcome and so perhaps oblivious to how long it takes. Just doing their job and nothing more.

FWIW, my view is it's just doing what it normaly does after news.
Filling the gap left from Fridays news and then slowly retracing until the next bit of news.

Also, keep an eye on the RSI at the bottom and see how once it gets up over 70 there's a natural fall off until its gets back down to the low 40's when it starts to slowly build back up. Rinse repeat until the next news event.
Long term, the 50ma is nicely above the 200ma. Short term ma's showing the pull back. But , meh!
And all way above the long term trend line. Which is nioce.
