So with the next 6 weeks, Scir will either be in a better position financially; based on a good HE1 well result. Or it will pretty much be where it is right now based on a non commercial result. With £2M already banked & the HE1 investment sitting at breakeven.
Being as the market values SCIR somewhere between .8p - 1.25p, it can only lose the £2M of potential cash that it didn't invest.
Unless Scir was in a dire financial position & debts needed to be settled by July. I don't agree that Scir should completely liquidate their HE1 holding & options.
This week HE1 indicated that the seismic they shot increases the potential of the project. If you were an investor, one would probably increase the HE1 position.
Of course it could just be empty structures underground and all that Helium could of been leaking away for the past 100years.
But this is the sector that Scir has been in since its inception. The play has been de-risked. This is a free roulette spin for Scir.
Whats the worst that could happen?
