mrc in my opinion the Saudi's have had control since it became the biggest producer/exporter. Now they are losing market share to other producers but if they turned off their taps, the world would probably grind to a halt.
Humans have now concluded that if we continue on this path, we are doomed. So green/renewable is the only future. I don't know what that will look like but I do believe the likes or the recent Shell/Exxon announcements will become pervasive.
So it will start with the Majors & if legislation is changed worldwide, the enviros won't have to infiltrate the micro & midcaps. Companies will just fall like dominoes.
We can all speculate on why the deal didn't get done & chose perspectives or see silver linings. All I can do is believe the BOD made the best decision at the time for the business.Β Whether that decision was: short term detriment for long term benefit. Or a short term bet which will prove detrimental, I don't know. But the company fundamentals hedge against that.
If a deal comes before the 3month HE1 results, great. If one doesn't, I still see an upside based on good drill results. If there is no commercial Helium & if no deal comes before CH1 results, its disappointing but I still see an upside post CH1 results.
Personally I can't continue to complain about how crap a situation is. I just chose to get on with other things.
