This is from Barclays Research Centre as I write: Trading Resistance: £3.67.13. Resistance 1: £3.66p. Resistance 2: £3.96p. Suit yourself, but I'm very comfortable with their numbers. They will, likely as not, know better than us!

£3.66p is the current (technical) resistance mark; hence why we bounced off it yesterday and twice, so far, today.

We are getting the rises now, but in a far more measured way; unlike in 2021, when it rose SO fast, that a sharp retrace was inevitable. Prefer it this way - 100%.

That will be nice, as my break-even now stands at £4.19p!! Ha ha I will be up by 1p!! ATB :)

If you take a look at this, it will show that LGIM already owned 3.91%. Its latest purchase will bring it up the table, leaving it as the fifth largest Institutional Share Holder. Lots of good additional information on the page too:

Yes, Lending, and that is exactly what people are, consciously or sub-consiously, factoring out. There are many things that have nothing to do with DT, that will hold its share price back - hence my Conservative approach to 2022. Contrary to what our in-house Phychologists are saying, I'm neither "complex" or "depressed". I am however, just very "realistic"! You can't take this stuff too seriously :)

It is but that another 20% which is good. Today's results were pretty much already baked in, from the recent sharp rises from £2.80p. I think £3.50p isn't a million miles from where DT should now be myself. £3.80p is about right. . .

Charles, I think a lot of this is where one sets ones level of expectation. I think today has been good, but I'm only looking for a £4.20p year end finish. It's not like this was going to hit £4 today; whatever the results had been. Indeed if the numbers today, had in any way disappointed, then we would have been absokutely hammered. It is never a fair Market and one must always keep that fact in mind! DT is not a get rich quick scheme. . .

It's not so much that tech firms are 'despised', as they're not. It's more that they are, and always have been, heavily traded. As a sector, tech companies just don't attract anything like as many 'sticky investors' as other sectors. As a result, this produces a lot of volatility & inconsistency; plus all of the usual shanagans that goes with it. DT is no exception. Today has been a good result. If the wider market had not responded as it has, then we would have been staring down the barrel of sub £3. . . .

Clued, as I wrote in my reply to Lending yesterday, I said that on the numbers alone, DT is worth £3.80p. I then paired it back to £3.40p due to the "world's woes". So, in fact, the £3.80p is pretty accurate. ATB

On today's numbers, £3.80p is very fair - even taking into account the world's woes. It's crazy that the market is not recognising their efforts.

Hence my modest c£4/£4.20p year end target. As mentioned last week, I suspected this RNS would have zero impact on the share price (though it should). We have never had a good response to a results RNS and today is no different. Such a yawn this one. We need to be so much more realistic from here on. Good day folks.....

If nothing seems Charles, you do need to stop the £6 stuff after today. These are good results, but not a huge amount happening, which says it all for DT. I think they are worth c£3.80p but the wider market clearly does not agree! I have absolutely no idea how this is even going to get to £5 now, as these are pretty decent numbers.

As you both say, if they don't like these results, then we are in a spot of bother; I suspect that they will though. . . . ATB
