Somewhat galling that we're embroiled in this mess while gold is doing its thing. This probably shouldn't become a sister board for EUA but I'm amazed that the LSE are happy with the seemingly indefinite suspension over there. Don't want to trawl through the AIM rules but I'm certain there's a principle that the shares should be traded unless there's a blimmin good reason why not (might not be quite worded like that).

It isn't a case of herd immunity existing or not, it is an incremental, progressive defence against a virus. I agree that it is open to debate the degree to which it is now effective in any particular place at this time, but it has been building around the world since late autumn at least. I'm not saying that NCYT isn't a good investment just because plague won't hit us like the first wave.

An apt moniker at least, of course it won't spread like it did initially, there is more preparedness even in this country, plus a degree of herd immunity. Yes there will be spikes and possibly more local lockdowns but not like the first wave - £££ signs over judgement I think.

Well RB I've seen enough cosy institutional placements in my time to respect the fact that PH seems to have had PI's interests at heart with the RI. Yes it was tortuous inching away from the RI price but nobody's complaining now. I have mentioned the 'Russian Discount' on the POG SP in the past and copped a little hostility and while it's absolutely zero comfort to have been proved right I guess we'll all be more vigilant in exercising our voting rights in the future. As for EUA, contrary to their LSE bulletin board I'm not confident at all, hope to be surprised.

RBamker I don't think there's a question mark over PH fighting for PI's rights in 2015. I clearly remember him saying that the RI would give PI's the chance to maintain a "meaningful" investment in POG and at 5p who would disagree with that now? Yes his mismanagement of GP risk took us down to those levels but at least there was a glimmer of integrity in how the fund raise was handled. Are you genuinely in EUA by the way - doesn't seem the type of thing for a cautious investor?

I have added modestly but my cash flow has been Coronacrunched so I have to be careful. Looking forward to getting the consolidation behind us and seeing what the future holds. I'm hopeful that the current mcap will be proved to be ludicrous in the not too distant future. DYOR etc etc....

Hope so Brikz - we have copper looking strong again, silver back near a year high and predicted to go much higher. This has to be an attractive project for someone with the cash to realise it.

Just anecdotal evidence in the pick up in construction but I was trying to get hold of a building inspector all last week. Eventually got a call back on Fri and he said everything has just taken off (commercial and domestic) and they are absolutely flat out. Not scientific evidence but can only be a good sign for the sector.

I wouldn't be 100% confident in any circumstances but on balance I don't believe the purpose of the consolidation is to then dilute again. I'm not going to go over again why they can't take it off the table as it's obvious. I'm upbeat because I'm delighted with operations over the last year, I'll be happier when we know that all deleterious elements are manageable and that the hydrology satisfies the locals and confirms that water issues won't impact the economics. If we can shore up the financing through whatever means then the market will rapidly start to price us on at the asset at long last. Could be astonishing (IMO). I understand the negativity and even why positivity seem to cause irritation on here at the moment but the SP isn't the only story here, trust me I'm as frustrated as anyone about it.

Ha ha I hope they haven't based the location on traffic surveys conducted during lockdown. The M4 / M5 interchange is gridlock in the build up to weekends particularly in the summer in normal circumstances. On Bank Holiday weekends you're better off walking!

Sorry 10bT I missed that earlier. I admit I have been wildly over optimistic in the past on timeframes. Not entirely my fault as for instance MC comment around Christmas was very misleading on timescales on 2nd phase mets (though plague was some mitigation.... eventually). My expectations from this time last year have changed principally in where I see us going as a company. I expected a sale following metallurgy but now I reckon it will be either a JV or another form of financing, whether that will be with a view to getting past the PFS stage or going all the way I don't know. In terms of mcap much depends on how good the deal will be, if we sell the family silver, so to speak, just to secure sufficient funds to finance another round of drilling of drilling and then what next?... again, I'll be devastated. This consolidation simply has to draw a line under funding uncertainties or fear of dilution will dog us indefinitely.

It's got to be worth us having a bit more patience to find out what the copper could mean for us, Reuters article today:

There's lot's of exciting material out there on the antimicrobial properties of copper in medical surfaces, plus demand from the green energy sector which is only going to increase with emission targets. Lead-Zinc-Silver-Copper plays aren't unheard of - see the Zinkgruvan mine in Sweden, owned by Lundin (yes them again).

Mokgone - you may not be far off there. I have often wondered if we're already getting help. We have taken on two graduates from the University of Salamanca (I think) and while they're not going to stretch the coffers as much as our hard pressed part-time Non-Execs :) I don't know how everyone is getting paid. Jesús and Luis can't be cheap, WA certainly aren't.

Given escalating tensions between the West and Hong Kong / China it looks like a masterstroke to have dispensed with CITIC and engaged London based UBS. Good to see the Board ahead of events.
