Hilarious you "think" the shares will be consolidated in the morning. Well the record date record date for the consolidation is 6pm this evening so yes they'll be trading at the consolidation price tomorrow. By the way Rob if you know they'll drop lower tomorrow you've still got an hour to sell your holding for a higher value. I have no idea if it will go up or down tomorrow but honestly the stuff people come up with, good grief!

Hi Pete - well going through the resolutions took most of the time, we'll hear the results later today. CJ got the £1000 issue cleared up with the company lawyer and basically all the stuff about folk with small holdings getting shafted was a storm in a teacup. I qualify that again by saying you could take an alternative view and say they have been shafted as their holdings have become so small, but from where we are now everyone will be treated fairly. Encouraging stuff on talks with other entities, though a cynic could fairly say wasn't it ever thus! Thought there would be a lot more questions to be honest.

Well that was interesting I thought. Looking forward to the news flow now. I think it might be deathly quiet on here this afternoon as everyone who has a gripe with the company had their chance - absolutely no vetting of questions, anybody could speak up.

Only POG Hairy! I suppose any transparency can't be a bad thing for shareholders. I suppose instinctively we want to support the Status Quo and are naturally suspicious of Everest but it will be interesting to hear their case. My greatest fear would be a plot to take POG private, I was in Eurasian Natural Resources when that happened.

Jasier sorry not ignoring, I have taken a drink and attempted a couple of replies and they read badly, rather than cause ambiguity just get clarity from the Company would be my advice. My assumption is that if the resolution is passed they can dispose of holdings under £1000 after notifying the shareholder. You would have the chance to amend your position to stay invested or have your holding sold on favourable trading fees terms. Yawns..... "To sleep, to sleep perchance to dream".

Sorry missed that - not trying to steal your thunder Bobby :) By the way just had confirmation that nobody will have holdings under £1K sold without first being notified. In a way if you have a small holding they're actually doing you a favour because you can cash in your shares without broker fees. I will add, before there's howls of derision that lowering the SP to this pitiful level was not so much doing anyone a favour.

Interesting that they're also proposing increased shareholder protection in the event of a proportional takeover bid. Shoring up the defences maybe, we've got a lot of silver after all.

I see Nornickel are fighting against the Russian Watchdog's $2B + damages claim for the diesel spill. Initially I thought this catastrophe would take them out of the picture for EUA's assets, but could it make them more aggressive in finding new potentially profitable acquisitions? Personally with that albeit disputed bill hanging over them any lending could be on very tough terms. Radika as I said to Bobby if anyone is unclear on what will happen to your holdings I would strongly urge you to contact the company secretary rather than canvass opinion on here. The Board are (subject to our votes) showering him in options for a part time job so I wouldn't worry about hassling him :) GL and I'm sure we'll all be interested to hear the official line on this.

Why don't you ask the company Bobby? You've raised this before so wouldn't that be the best way to find out definitively as it hasn't been answered by members of this board. Let me know what you find out - thanks.

Well it has always been speculated that Polygon must have a chunk as a play against their short which is a whopping 5.11%. I guess that short which I think first opened around 10p would be ruinous without the bonds. Can any bright spark calculate what sort of scale of bond holding they would need to make the arbitrage pay off given the losing position on the short? As this post probably betrays I admit I'm not on top of this one!

Well I'd rather a steady build based on the fundamentals, GP and good management but yes it could be interesting.

That's my take TLTL but strange they didn't RNS the court result. This could be wildly optimistic but could we see a battle for shares between the two sides in the build up to the GM?

Not sure Freddie, why haven't we heard about the court hearing first? Everest wanted the court to have them thrown off the Board so perhaps the fact that it is going to a GM means that they didn't get their way? I admit I'm confused....

Interesting mfm I mentioned in an earlier ramp, sorry post that after the Credit Crunch silver recovered from below $10 per oz to nearly touching $50/oz. Hopefully more steady and sustained this time. Copper keeps on in it's recovery also, I suspect that could be a significant part of the Exec's motivation to find financing and investigate the economics of the copper rather than throw Toral to the dogs at this stage. TO25 just too good not to be in the JORC as well IMO but we need someone's cash.

Might it suggest it's going to be complicated? Has the Judge offered a compromise and waiting to hear back from both sides. Not sure if its the Judges remit to actually arbitrate rather than just pass judgement - any corporate law experts out there?
