Well said Banker, I've never doubted that this will come good but admit I massively underestimated how complex the metallurgy would be, it's been a learning process. To be fair last September when we first sent cores to WA it wasn't described as 'first phase metallurgy' and I don't remember them cautioning that it would be unlikely that they would glean all required information in one phase. Anyway we are where we are and surely we'll know very soon if the economics are completely derisked and what direction we're going in.

Think I said earlier 'mm games' is one that normally makes me groan but this looks naughty. They're supposed to have a duty to form a market not just squirrel away all the sells so their mate can have them at an exclusive price.

Interesting - I suppose it's not impossible for different mm's to give sufficiently varying quotes to make that possible. I do remember on another stock once a trusted poster said they'd successfully exploited a situation like that and made an instant profit. Its probably the nearest we can get to the professional traders and algo-trading programmes scalping constant profits.

Don't forget our most important metal Zinc is consistently creeping up as well. I don't normally like to get embroiled in the 'mm games' thing but a 'trade' at 8:01 goes through at 13p dead, below yesterday's sells and I tested 25,000 and got 13.15p, so what can you conclude from that?

Michael you probably answered your own question. Any deal with prospective partners would involve working metal prices on long averages / forecasts. As we are a way off being a producer of silver we can't benefit from the current spot price just yet in terms of sales, even producers will have hedged vast amounts so won't always immediately reap the rewards but as you say its going to do absolutely no harm in attracting investors and of course increasing what our ore is worth plus the extent of the resource that would be economic to mine.

Oh I missed that mfm, as if we need more charlatans on here! Talking about trading I have my head in my hands for closing my silver cfd yesterday. Can hardly bear to watch despite the positivity for EUZ, looks like US$30 might go tomorrow.

Michael looks like they're being clever, accumulating in decent chunks but happy to wait for the stock to become available so not to move the price, with the quantity if not volume of sellers it has been easy for them. Reassuring to know that someone who knows what they're doing wants a position here.

Would never criticise people for selling, everyone has their reasons but they're making it ridiculously easy for the big buyer.

CJ and Brikz, I mentioned the other day that the 'worthy' sectors such as green energy will get headline priority. However you can't make solar panels and wind turbines out of lentils yet, they're going to need things like zinc, silver and copper. Hopefully that will be considered when grants are awarded.

There goes US$28/oz for silver, unbelievable.

I also think this is one of the reasons that we took on a couple of Spanish University graduates. That really strengthens our case for a grant if we can show we're already recruiting. As someone said last week they're not as daft as some like to make out on here.

Fine I am more than happy to be accused of being a muppet. As I said to someone earlier in the week who had a go at me, water off a ducks back. I do find you backing down on the accusation somewhat unconvincing but will happily drop this as you have clarified to the board that you are not accusing me of something repellent so thank you for that. Crikey someone sensible pops up! CHRI5P if I'm being honest I have been thinking for a while that the free money is more likely to go to 'worthy' projects. Stuff that is likely to help governments with carbon targets, medical research and suchlike. However and I know nothing about how this monumental EU stimulus package is to be distributed but if the jurisdiction have an allocation I think we're a certainty for help as we know they want to reinvigorate the mining sector in the region. The green lobby (which I sympathise with in many areas) have wrongly been trying to lump mining in with O&G so I'm less confident about our chances if applying directly to Brussels. LR did tell me they have a number of irons in the fire on this (while not giving anything away). The RNS does say 'grant' not 'loan' so if you believe in the company in concord with your investment decisions I guess they are confident of free cash.
