I really don't get it Bobby, your narrative about the management hasn't changed over the last year but you keep investing. Have you addressed them directly with your concerns because the only satisfaction you'll get on here is a few tick ups from other p'off investors? Perhaps I missed the grilling you gave them at the GM?

Its all great fun and I don't want to get all grown up all of a sudden but I would be a little careful where some of these threads are going as in particular let's hope Strand Hanson don't feel the need to defend their reputation. When you click 'post' you are a publisher, lse.co.uk will argue they are a mere conduit. Personally I've always thought that will change when eventually there's a big test case and these platforms will be forced to shoulder a higher level of responsibility.

Gar - I don't feel sucked in at all. I didn't ever hear a placing ruled out so blame my own judgement for believing a placing was unlikely. I also still believe this will do very well. In all the misery we seem to have missed the fact that the SP has settled (for now....) above the placing price which is progress of sorts and we have news flow imminent. Think the mood will be very different soon.

Arsenal, sorry bit sarcastic of me but look at long averages. Who knows where this will go short term, not me but I've been in the POG asylum a very long time.

Okay thanks for that tsbs, sorry for being tetchy, I just read something else about 'shouting down'. I honestly don't try and stifle people, I never recommend buy etc. It's a debate and on this placing I'm wrong and accept the defeat. Now I really, really, really must do some work :)

...... and I really don't understand this attitude that seems to prevail today where if you disagree with someone you're 'having a go at them'. Honestly pull yourself together tbs, if you can't engage in a debate without suffering these dreadful feelings of hurt then better not to. Just been doing some calculations and I make the 'premium' :( on the last placing 2%. Surprised it wasn't even tinier, pretty depressing on the back of all the good work and strong metals. Have I got this wrong? In old money..... 0.0255 - 0.025 = 0.0005 / 0.0005 ÷ 0.025 x 100 = 2%

Have to agree, we know a RI is a more complex and expensive process but would have just shown some respect to PI's at least. I'm hugely disappointed, but taking the options to cover salary cuts at least proves they believe they can deliver this. If in six months we have more asset, proven economics in a PFS we might look back and think thank goodness we didn't let a partner in on a bad JV. I called this wrong on the placing 100% but if anyone can be bothered to look back I did say there was a danger of a JV on bad (asset diluting) terms.

No I didn't say they know the final results but will obviously be well aware of how they are progressing after four months.

Bobby they know very well how the mets are coming along, it has been over four months since this phase was initiated. We also know that the metallurgy is interactive between WA and the company. It's not like waiting for your exam results (pre Covid).

Sensible post CHR5P - I admit I'm very deflated but there is at least a clear pathway to PFS. At that point we'll be able to either sell or negotiate JV from a stronger position. Should hear about the next drilling strategy soon which will be interesting. As someone just said they never ruled out dilution so we all have to accept the outcome of our judgement calls.

Well we all had the chance to buy at 5p. Not crowing about that because after years of building a position my average is pretty much on this placing price - longest and most expensive geology lesson in history :) I suppose they'll argue the price has been much lower for most of the year but I don't accept that as an excuse for not doing better. I have been fretting about deleterious elements as particularly the nasties we know were at Rubiales haven't been ticked off yet. I suppose it's safe to assume that DB wouldn't be throwing more cash at this if there was anything overly pernicious in the ground.

Yes lor it's a terrible price, not to achieve better after a year of good work and strong silver is pathetic. Even if the mets drop and its more good news it will just look like the institutions are pulling the strings. The only consolation is that I was worried that a deal prior to a PFS might be done on very poor terms and we end up giving away more of the asset than we would via equity dilution. Small crumbs of comfort though I'm afraid.
