Teaye I know that Brikz had comms with an 'entity' that would belie the idea that they can't have personal holdings as well as manage public funds. I'll leave him to expand if he wishes as it was a good bit of snouting by him not me. I'm happy also CHRI5P with everything but the flaming SP. I think Tuesday will be very interesting, should be a slick presentation with Tavistock, if not and its against that horrendous window frame I'm giving up and selling :)

I wouldn't expect instant results from the actual institutions, I've never worked at one of these places I admit but I would be fairly certain if an individual portfolio manager was interested in adding us to a fund they would have to prepare the investment case, risk assessments etc before accumulating. I'll bow to anyone with genuine first hand experience if that's off the mark though. You'd hope some of them might fancy a piece of us for themselves though, it's going to be a big disappointment if the economic report fails to bring new money on board.

I'm not sure we've seen much evidence of new institutional buying yet, but very happy to be proved wrong. I'd hope one or two of the people we're presenting to might be tempted to take private positions which might happen before their actual institutions make an investment decision. Tuesday is looking very interesting I think we'll see EUZ in a new light under Tavistock's guidance, no Rudy Giuliani make-up though please!

Phew well if that's the case here's one for you - was today's price action progress of sorts? I mean would a bad day just have got worse normally but we saw some support at least. Also I can't see the ****erel but that's probably a matter for the AGM, however would the lads be making light hearted tweets if it was going badly at EMEA? Just had a ring of back slapping to me, though the danger is feedback is likely to be polite and positive but whether the audiences go back to their desk and prepare reports recommending taking a position is another matter.

Hi Bricks - I completely understand and share your frustration but I guess you can't stop anyone whether a PI or institution buying and selling shares it's up to the company to make the case for folk to stick around, I'm not naive enough to think its 100% clean but the FCA won't do anything. Maybe if LR can bring some more institutional money on board on the strength of these economics the SP will be less easily moved around. I do worry about how the company is presented (outside of the RNS's) though. I mentioned yesterday how easily and cheaply the LR video yesterday could have been vastly improved, and I don't mean simply not doing it as some have suggested :) We could also do with a new website, the costs again an absolute drop in the ocean. Just one example - for a company who like to emphasise good in-country relations click on 'Spanish Team' and you get Jesús Montero on his lonesome! Where's Luis, José, Emma Maria and these young graduates who work for us?

Haha blimmin paid moaners mfm and jed :) By the way I like a moan too, I'm far from happy about everything. The thing that I object too is moaners who just ignore the operational achievements, seem to have no expectation of a good outcome and yet claim to be invested. What I was intending to point out was those types who view the company 100% through the prism of the SP were noticeably absent just when you would have expected them to wade in as we retraced today. Suggests to me that many have left for good. For the record I admit the SP and mcap is what this will all be eventually judged on but the market valuation is an imperfect mechanism. Just to stick up for myself mfm I'll take 'ponder' even 'waffle' but 'haphazardly speculate' is, I'd argue unfair, I do try to attach some thought and analysis to my posts which I admit are more frequent than usual as more of my work is in front of a screen than I would normally like. Saying that I wasn't aware that frequency versus a paucity of posting was considered a good or bad thing.

Is anyone else slightly confused as to why these Directors and PCA have decided to invest now rather than earlier this year when NCYT was a screaming buy but obviously massively cheaper? Put another way, why wouldn't Mrs Gibson invest her 6K then rather than now. The positive spin is that she's risk adverse but now believes a certain outcome is nailed on. The troubling thing is that, as someone else alluded to if that was the case wouldn't you be throwing the kitchen sink in. Not intended as a ramp or de-ramp I just can't quite square the rationale of the timing and size of these dealings by people who obviously rightly or wrongly have a much better idea than us of what is coming up.

Good to see some new posters on here today and an absence of the angst ridden terminal moaners. To be fair those of us who have been around a while have good reason to be disappointed but just so pointless hanging around if you can't still see a positive outcome. I think we might get the new drill strategy soon, the hints seem to be that we will target more indicated in the central mining zone but perhaps also look at these marginal grades that the ore sorting is turning into a potential earner. Interesting times.
