To be fair with just 1035 shares bought on the London Stock Exchange it's hardly taking much holding back :) bit more buying on Aquis though. Nice bounce from silver, don't understand why it dropped so much on both pieces of vaccine news. Gold as an out and out safe haven makes more sense but silver has more industrial applications as we all know on this board. Copper continues it's charge, surely there is a cost v potential rewards case for finally investigating it properly?

If that is your price target in five years Grappa I would recommend Government Bonds. You'll get virtually the same return and have no capital at risk.

I didn't thing the placing price was too bad, the fact is we spent most of the year dwindling at lower levels. What I did resent was the hints that there were non-dilutive options when they didn't want to take them. I'm assuming we would just have had to give too much away prior to a PFS. In other words dilution of the equity was preferable to dilution of the asset at this stage. Only time will tell if that route serves shareholders well, until there is some evidence that it does I would urge everyone to vote against the new options.

Usually a MM making up a trade is the most likely explanation I've read Trade. I know that makes no sense if there is only one trade but there is more activity on Aquis. Not a lot though, have to say I'm staggered there isn't more interest in this with the Bara report just round the corner.

Haha UK I'd suggest that the asset is better than 'decent' but you touch on something that is critical - the location. I reckon we're getting absolutely zero reflection of being in the perfect location in the SP, but this fact won't be missed by the people that matter. Supportive jurisdiction, history of mining, road, rail and nearby smelter, even potential synergies with local cement works in need of limestone. Very exciting period coming up but I have sent in my votes against additional incentive options for the board, I'm very happy with the operational performance but consider it inappropriate when the vast majority of supportive LTH's are underwater.

Hi CHRI5P when you think of the real work, all independently validated that will impact the new economics it's quite difficult to keep expectations in check. Since the last SS we've had first indicated, grades that were above the detection limit at ALS labs, positive metallurgy and ore sorting proven as effective. We should see CAPEX (already low) and OPEX come down a little, we've already had the JORC resource update in August so I'm not sure if that goes up again? I also think there could be something quite exciting about the drill programme (see approx 3:12) in interview. Anyway this is what will ultimately deliver for us, not having a sharp suited CEO with the gift of the gab, though I do agree that better comms and presentation of strategy could have eased the pain along the way. Right if the rain holds off I have a date with a bag of cement and stack of concrete blocks.

mfm I disagree with much of what you're saying but in an attempt to be constructive I think there is a balance to be struck. LR has delivered on the work streams that will ultimately deliver value for us but seems to be failing in convincing the market that this success is coming. I didn't think the interview was great but I'd much rather have a CEO delivering what is important rather than just another in the long procession of AIM Ring Masters promising the world, creating hype and eventually getting found out. I've seen that before thanks. I'm sorry that you're 80% down but I think you're looking for a cure to the problem in the wrong place, the work streams that you think LR is getting 'giddy' about are 100% essential and are what will matter when it comes to delivering a result with the industry. The balance that I mentioned earlier is that I think we could afford to spend some money on a better website and perhaps some part time PR consultancy. I think LR is being stubborn on that due to success in that field earlier in his career. I have a lot of time for LR because despite being blunt and sometimes brusque (to say the least) he is prepared to communicate with us PI's. Generally I think he presents pretty well but he does like to make challenging comments like saying we're not undervalued or I remember the "Mining is broken" comment is 2018. I fear that does unsettle some potential investors and I hope he puts his idiosyncrasies to one side and plays it straight at EMEA.

Sorry didn't see your reply when waffling about Las Médulas. We're not prospecting for the fun of it Jed, we have to de-risk the asset to increase the confidence of someone potentially putting in the big bucks. Upgrading the category of resource along with all the other work is about proving to the best of our ability that the mine won't underperform for whoever makes the big cash investment.

Just to add Jed, I know LR got a bit irritated by the speculation about the Las Médulas mine but your mention of gold is definitely not ridiculous, as far as I can work out the geology is far from equivalent but there are similarities (Cambrian and Early Ordovician limestone) though the gold was in the near surface sediments. The SE part of our licence shares that Cenozoic cover but heaven knows if we would be allowed to drill near the Campañana Reservoir. If you can find the July 2019 TP research note it has maps and graphs of the geography and geology of the area and you can see how close we are to Las Médulas, less than 10K's. Doesn't mean we have a single ounce of gold of course and we definitely wouldn't be allowed to use the Roman mining method (ruina montium)!! All idol theorising but I find it interesting :)

Jed I assume you're joking about coal etc so I'll put that to one side. I agree it wasn't a terribly inspiring interview but really there's not much so say about the licence except it proves the picture of excellent in-country relations isn't an illusion. I'm (hopefully) learning all the time here and this time last year I was hopeful of a quick sale I admit but IMO we need the PFS to achieve the best possible deal whether that is sale or JV. Again I'm not sure about this but I read somewhere that the inferred resource isn't considered in a PFS so the drilling is necessary to beef up the indicated and maybe even get some measured resource. I meant to ask LR if we're within sight of measured last week but forgot. So the new round of drilling won't just be an academic exercise but to increase the bankable part of the resource and hopefully make your shares worth a bit more.

Nothing today that screams leak then. I'd be rubbish at doing those interviews I have to admit but I thought LR was a bit off form today. Seemed hesitant when asked about the mining licence. Is the truth that he knows that's going to be for someone else? Definitely got a vibe that there's going to be something new in the drilling plan though, could we be opening up a new front? Not long to wait now.

Teaye with the AGM coming up on the 30th anyone with a grievance has the perfect opportunity to express it directly to the board without even having to leave home. There will be a virtual meeting facility so I'm sure we'll hear Laurence being held to account and it will be interesting to hear his response.

Thanks Enzo1 - think we're going to get something interesting on the drill strategy. They've been waiting for something in this Bara work before making a decision for sure.

No probs tsbs - I agree it's still disappointing but I think judging by a lot of the recent dialogue on here many holders already had their bags packed. I also think some may be nervous seeing 2023 being mentioned but I'm totally convinced that they have to plan to go all the way in order to force a fair deal, when that will be only they know but most likely after PFS.

I have certainly never said that the permit would be a price mover. Great to see it confirmed but as I have said before today, with the research related grant specifically targeting drilling data it was obvious we were getting it. There was only downside in the event of it not being issued, we would have been a lame duck with claims of good in-country relations in tatters. Still thought we would end blue after the initial market reaction though so I might be wrong there if it helps, let's see. Maybe an intraday RNS to clear the decks for something tomorrow at 7am, mind you I've seen that theory fail before :)

Nothing to worry about as the mining licence while important isn't really the price mover. There was only really downside as it was unthinkable that we wouldn't get it. Certainly would be illogical if we ended up down though.
