Hard luck Jed, would be good to see a bunch of sellers go on this news which really was nailed on, particularly after the grant based on drilling research. To have been refused the licence would have been catastrophic. The more unhappy holders that sell on this, the lower the impact of the sell on news brigade when the economics are published IMO. Sell, sell sell!

Good find Raleigh - the building inspector who is signing off my extension says they're flat out covering developments, domestic and commercial. I think there must be more to yesterday's rise than just general conditions though.

It is a bit ambiguous as it would normally say if they were part of a share incentive scheme. Has anyone emailed Investor Relations for a definitive explanation - I'm getting bounced.....

Assuming the Bara economic report will be ready for the conference I would guess that it must be complete by now. The reason being that quite a few parties have contributed data and will need to review it before signing it off for public release. I wonder if we will start to see some clues in the market in the build up to EMEA?

Right boredom alert - Milnrow there isn't a hard and fast rule ie. 'an' always to precede vowels and 'a' before words starting with a consonant it's more to do with word harmony, if it sounds like a vowel or consonant. When I write RNS, I put 'an RNS' because it's the sound the word makes that matters - generally 'R' in English (on it's own) sounds like 'Ah' or 'Ar'. Yet if you write 'regulated it would be 'a regulated news....". 'Europa' phonetically is something like 'Yuropa' so a consonant sound hence 'an Europa' sounds wrong. Would you rather I went back to talking about Brexit....... :)

On metal prices it is interesting that the lead, zinc, copper miner CAML have shrugged off a costly environmental accident and reinstated a dividend payment today noting "Metal prices have generally recovered well during H2 2020 to date, with the copper price up 50%, the zinc price up 45% and the lead price up 17% from their respective lows in H1 2020". Shows the strength in this sector.

Okay C I understand, all metals are up a little today except copper again strangely, hoping for some news at last.....

Yes CHRI5P - I've seen it over the years with AIM stocks. When the main market falls it often appears that AIM is insulted from the general malaise but gradually heads are turned by blue chip bargains. I don't agree with you about gold, I know we always have these incredible predictions that never seem to materialise but I think fiscal stimulus' are here to stay and gold has a way to go, we'll see, as ever I could well be completely wrong. I'm a bit surprised about silver in recent days but zinc has been been a star and copper rallying - if only we knew....

Trade I don't think they want to let it go. However with that mindset and positioning the company to move the ball forward independently is probably the perfect way to entice an offer you can't refuse.

UKI metals have been a bit all over the place today. Silver & gold okay, copper down but after an amazing run. Lead down and zinc up. I don't think it has any bearing on us, we just had that big sell. Slightly concerning when we're so close to the Bara report.

There are places in the world where people can only dream of expressing political opinion freely without fear, yet some posters get hot under the collar when it's done here. Strange that someone who is so sensitive about feeling 'shouted down' should want to be the censor when I'm only enjoying my right to freedom of speech. Brexit is relevant to all companies whether in the EU or not. This is not my favourite topic of conservation but while we wait for news I will post what I wish, just because a subject is divisive and uncomfortable doesn't means views shouldn't be aired, the opposite in fact and believe it or not this isn't a popularity contest. Bobby has just expressed an opinion on the EU which is fine by me though didn't you just say "people.... want to see informed comment on EUZ, not unrelated personal opinions on the issues of the day" so why not take your own advice and give us some of your pearls of wisdom re. EUZ. Recently you said that we were on a 'knife edge' without explaining why - perhaps you could start there? If however you want to continue telling us what you think about the EU it won't bother me in the slightest. Big sell today, wonder who?

Sure CHRI5P I'll be sad to see them go but I do think it's inevitable. Anyway I'll drop the subject as it does seem to upset people, not sure why as I like a good debate - it's what democracy is all about! I've had many discussions with friends and family and we all seem to get on even in disagreement. For some reason on here people seem to get so agitated about politics. I can't stress strongly enough that if I disagree with someone I'll say so and explain why - it is not an attempt to shut anyone up. Any theories on why the vaccine news hit silver so hard today? Gold got off a bit more lightly. Perhaps profit taking on the recent rise with funds moving to the stocks that have been demolished by CV. Let's hope for a fab EUZ RNS to unite the clans tomorrow, mind you we could get improved economics, more EU money and the exploration licence on the same day and some posters would still say this is going to hell in a handcart! As is their right :)
